Also one of those 'industry insiders' who like right 95% of the time with his predictions/rumors said shortly after that article that the remake was happening and was going to be ps4 exclusive. Apparently coming as soon as next year with it supposedly being unveiled at E32015. I saw this reported on destructoid, n4g, neogaf, and several other sites.

I hope this isn't one of the 5% times he is completely off base or I might stab someone.

Why don't they just sell it? If they put the rights up for sale, there will most likely be a company willing to buy it and create the games.

Why have the rights to the game, when you're not going to do anything with it, apart from tell the people who want a new game "We like TimeSplitters too!".

I did pre and post patch and still don't get the bitchfest. Guess everyone wanted their "happily ever after" ending or something.

The story climaxed well and the ending(s) made perfect sense. Maybe some could not wrap their minds around the philanthropic topic that is the creation/destruction of life, etc.

Well if you mined enough materials/edited your save so you had enough like I did, you sort of got a happy ending. They weren't all together, but everyone lived...except the Dr. as I did not make the right choices on that one.

I explored absolutely every single thing I could. I love the world, the lore, story, etc. First play through though, I lost a few people, no big deal, that happens in most every game.

Dunno, but game snobs can fuck right off this generation with the whole "The ending isn't what I/WE wanted, it isn't 1080p 60fps --> GTFO" crap. Some people are rotten.

Very true. I know I lost a couple, was way to happy to kill off Kaidan in exchange for Ashley/the love of my Chuck Norris doppelgangers life. Never could get into the mining and exploring stuff though. Was initially dreading doing all of the sidequests, but I grew to love the story so much I ate most of them up.

Don't really get the whole mandatory 1080p, 60fps stuff. As long as the picture isn't really grainy or most importantly laggy I'm fine with it.

The issue is that this is a 3rd party exclusive on a series that has been supported by Playstation and PC gamers from inception, not Xbox. Microsoft really, really wants this to be their Uncharted.

I played it at my sisters house when I was visiting for the week. Couldn't see the appeal. Had to pass my spare time with LBP racing with my nephew during the day and Skyrim at night.

1) Sega agreed to a $1.25 million settlement regarding the Aliens: Colonial Marines class action lawsuit while Gearbox is still fighting their involvement in the lawsuit.

That interview is pretty ambiguous about the exclusivity. All he says is that the IP is not bought. This could be taken to mean every future game is not guaranteed exclusive as well.
