I've noticed that a Behemoth is accompanying these Super Mutant ambushes as of late. Now I don't go anywhere w/o my Power Armor and heavily statted weapons. I made it inside a building before this Behemoth got to me, almost RKO'ed me into the pavement. On top of that a BOS Vertiberd(sp?) was crashing into the ground and I didn't want to catch shrapnel from that piss. |

A little tip to avoid Preston Garvey bugging you in Sanctuary is to move him to The Castle so that place becomes the Minutemen HQ. If he wants to save all the Settlements then he should take the General title and do it himself. Can't wait until I can feud with the Minutemen. Bastards
All Sanctuary should be is relaxing, save for the Raider/Super Mutant/Radscorp invasions. I had to repair all my turrets and generators the other day cause either it was a maintenance mechanism or I got attacked real bad. My basketball court was intact though |

Yea, that would be sweet.
Get the baseball outfit, find a specific ball + bat to engage the quest. Use The Institute tech to teleport back. Only if you can but nachos though. |

Well. the Tumblr page indicates that the reason you can use the baby is because it is considered an armor item. So, even without the assistance of mods, you should feasibly be able to use the Junk Jet to shoot babies if you simply entered in the formID for the baby in the console and oh my god I'm trying this when I get home

What about "the syringer". inject people with babies. Immediately makes them poo uncontrollably and puke after eating anything. Instead of typical "raider banter" everything comes out as baby coo-ing and/or crying. |

Hacked the terminal on Prydwen near the armory and stole the nice shit in there. Gotta be super careful when stealing there though..... Indicators say hidden, but steal too much and the whole Brotherhood will come after you. The gauss rifle is a sexy gun.

Do followers need the corresponding ammo type to whatever weapon you give them?
Thought about giving a town full of NPC's a buncha Fat Men and then watching from a distance. |

I think a follower needs ammo to use a non-default weapon.

I recall reading people saying that if you give them 1 of the correct ammo it effectively gives them unlimited. I kind of remember testing it but it's been a while since I've actually played ( ) so I forget. I do recall giving Cait a single Frag Grenade and her being able to blow me up quite handily.
I usually just stick them with their default weapon and not worry about it anyway... |

I got a Legendary irradiated combat rifle. I bumped it up to sniper status, and it is a beast with Nuclear Physicist perk, as it increases the bonus radiation damage, AND anything not affected by said rads are still pelted by the default kinetic damage, bumped up by little ol' Rifleman.

correct, if you want them to equip weapons you gave them, then provide the ammo, they will go back to default or dance enemies to death. Part of me wishes Trashcan Carla would drop her travelling merchant gimmick and roll with me. She is too sweet on the combatives |

Kept Kellogg's Pistol for a very long time, but it just wasn't worth it when I was making auto-rifles with the same ammo.
Got the Deliverer and modded the shit outta that bad boy. Drop any non-legendary ghoul in 1-2 shots Think I am getting really close to the final mission. Still not 100% which faction I wanna choose..... leaning toward Institute. |

My booking for this 2nd run is to sap the Brotherhood dry and destroy them, but I'm wondering if I should wait for the quest where other factions go after them or just go in guns ablazing, I'm afraid I'll be banned from the Prydwen and they'll fly back to DC Fallout 3 land |

The downside to hitting NPCs at a higher level now is that they die with a punch. I used to be able to strike them with my weapon when they said something negative, now they die and I have to make sure I saved before doing so

My problem with this pistol is the "maybe" Grim Reaper Sprint from criticals coupled with high VATS cost. Hell, I found a Freezing 10mm that was more deadly. Was basically a Cryolator/Lockjoint syringe on EVERY crit (except giants and robots... but it still slowed robots), and since it was just a 10, I could get sooo many shots off in VATS to refill the meter quickly.
Out of VATS, a shotgun with a drum mag gave as much stopping power without having to reload after 6 (mind you, I didn't have any weapon perks laded at the time). Cool on paper, but lackluster in practice. |

Got bored last night and decided to go exploring. I found the X-01 Power Armor which is apparently the best in the game.
I offloaded everything at Sanctuary and loaded up with a Fat Man and 37 mini-nukes and the power armor. Fast traveled to the airport and started nuking the shit out of the BoS. Paladin Dance went down in a blaze of irradiated glory. I wiped them out and then traveled to the Prydwen and proceeded to nuke the place into oblivion for the next 20 minutes. I had nukagrenades too, which are amazing. Wiped out everyone on the entire BoS. I should've recorded it. Then I reloaded because I haven't finished the story and didn't know how bad that would fuck up the ending. |

So, since the "real thing" dropped, I haven't played much of Fallout Shelter in the past few weeks. I fired it up once after launch to know Piper is a potential dweller and that the living quarters decor had shifted from Halloween to a festive Thanksgiving motif. Then, just again today, to not only see Christmas trimmings (in and out, as giant chunks of radioactive snow gently fall outside my vault door), but a few new changes to the gameplay.
First being pets. Yay! We get pets! So naturally, what does my first "free" pet land me? A goddamn cat. :/ I'm not a cat person. Second, of course, leads to more ways to feel like an asshole: evictions. So there's still this 200 dweller limit, and, I figure, it's better than just stripping down an unneccessary dweller and sending them off to their eventual demise, right? Nope. At least that way, they'll blindly run off to their doom with a big ass smile on their face. An eviction makes that dweller instantly sad, grab a valise, and do a slow, plodding walk of shame to and out the vault door. And you can't change your mind. Once you hit the eject button, they're done. No take backs. Guy I just kicked out vowed I'd "rue the day" I kicked him out. I'm already ruing, as my brain instantly imagined this guy coming back as a raider, and getting slaughtered, and all the vaultlings that were sharing a living space will have to swiss cheese the guy with all the OP weaponry my first line of defense has going, just because he wants revenge for me expelling him. The vaults were never designed to help people. |

My guy is too strong to go around and punch the weak NPCs, not even spec'ed into Melee. I'm lvl 51 and punched a Brotherhood Initiate eating a bowl of soup in the Brotherhood Dining Facility and his head exploded. Needless to say Paladin Danse was displeased and turned on me along with the whole ship.
