Pretty bummed about having to wait for it...but as long as the wait is worth it. I imagine I'll get the 360 version to tide myself over, but I imagine the controller will piss me off more than anything.

Well, I'm sold. Looks like there's a 6 button controller (not a joystick) coming out for this too. Probably gonna grab one, as a standard 360 controller is just terrible for fighters and I'm not too fond of joysticks for fighters.

Ken's english is already a normal to me (because its the Devil May Cry guy doing it). I'm glad they still say their move's commands. But really, who didn't expect that? The USA cartoon show had the actors keep the Japanese names for moves. That was quite a beat down, BTW.

Yeah, the Focus Cancel. Focus Attacks absorb one hit while charging, and they can be canceled into a forward of back dash. So take the hit and dash forward or back to replicate the parry system in a way.

Wow, glad I'm stumbling across this thread. I haven't played a SF game since Alpha 2 for SNES. This looks amazing though. Definitely going to have to pick this up when it comes out.

Since it's been so long for me, what should I expect the learning curve to be like, in comparison to say, Virtua Fighter 5, which is probably the last fighting game I've spent a good deal of time on.

I'm pretty sure I've watched every online video I could find on this game. I honestly hope the PC version can run on my arcade, in hopes that I'm not crazy enough to buy two MadCatz sticks.

Man I love Street Fighter, but never have I been any good. I am horribly playing as the right player, and I have such difficulty pulling off any F D DF move. Was just playing some Third Strike, and I am pathetic.

One of the first things I learned was Medium Attacks usually link into Special Attacks. Crouching Med Kick > Fireball (Ken) is a simple combo I still use to this day out of habit.

As was seen in the one hour 1up video, you should be able to toggle each player's language separately, for anyone who hates the American ones.
