Can someone fucking explain to me how sweepause I'm pressings work and how to block them? Bec down-back and it is still connecting almost every god damn motherfucking time. Do I have to yank on the mother fucking analog stick as hard as I fucking can until it rips out and I throw the useless piece of shit against the wall?

Cause thats what it seems like.

Fucking god damn piec of shit cursor on this computer is fucked up. Randomly jumps back 20 spaces or so, and also doesn't register when I type a letter sometimes. No idea how to fix it.

I made it to around 1480 before a couple of gay ass fights. One of them knocked me down 90 fucking points. I'm only getting like, 30 points for every fight. I was fucking furious.

Have I mentioned how much I hate fucking Ultras? They only hit half the time, but that half of the time there's absolutely nothing I can fucking do about it. I'm in the middle of a sweep OHSHITGIANTHADOKEN. I start to grab someone and OHMYGODGYRODRIVESMASHER. I know it's about making the fights more "dramatic" and shit, but it seems retarded to reward someone for getting the shit beat out of them. Three fourths of these pigshit yokels barely know any moves at all, let alone how to actually play, but they'll memorize the fuck out of their Ultra so they can just juke that shit. I've seen guys trying to mash down on their Ultra before they even have Revenge meter to do it with--all they understand is that "This = Win". I'm just lucky enough to get caught trying to actually fight them when their chubby, Cheeto stained fingers finally fumble over some coherant combination of buttons. It reminds me of shit from like, the Budokai games--you know what I mean? "I HIT WITH THIS PUNCH, AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR A MID-FIGHT CUTSCENE! WATCH YOURSELF GET PWNED."

Yeah, I got beat by another Cammy. Three out of five rounds--I won the first two rounds, and the next three rounds had my opponent going crazy for Supers and Ultras. I blocked their entire fucking Ultra, but the chip damage finished me off anyway. In the third round, we both swept at the same time and Double KO'd--but I had more BP than them at the time, so I lost BP and they gained it. FROM A DOUBLE FUCKING KO. A;JDKF;JAJF;A 88 GODDAMN BP.

I treat Ultras like any other special move. Cammy's Ultra essentially starts as a Cannon Drill, so I jump over it. Savvy players set it up a certain way.

What really gets me is how people come out of hit stun to do a move before you recover from JUST HITTING THEM.

Two weak hits should do it, nothing fancy is needed. You can also jump the Hell out of there. If your reflexes are acute enough at the time you can throw them before they release the attack as well.

I don't much like being in the corner, and sometimes I just feel plain helpless if they time the attack right.

As for throws, I get so mad when I am so so close and the grab doesn't work. And by the time I would have done another dash in to be close enough, I get a big whiff of Ken Shoryuken.

Capcom details patch fixes for Street Fighter II HD Remix

If your street fights have been plagued by nasty bugs and glitches -- even the occasional low blow -- we've got some good news: Capcom is on the case. It's working on a patch for SSFIITHDR coming "in the next few weeks" that will deal with a variety of issues.

We're glad to report that details regarding what will be patched are available right now. To keep in line with our New Year's resolution, we're going to keep the front page bullet-point-free and ask you click past the break for the details on what the patch will, uh, patch.

  1. After a number of games, the HUD will be corrupt. Yellow lifebars will freeze, the round counter flags will all be on, and the names will show more than one name. (PS3 and Xbox 360)
  2. Frequent disconnects during VS transition screen. Often caused by selecting START color of character. (PS3 and Xbox 360)
  3. Title crashes if user has a large friends list and tries to access the friends list (PS3)
  4. Rating being set to "0" and from then on, rating remains at "0". Once that patch goes live, we'll reset all leaderboards/scoreboards. (PS3 and Xbox 360)
  5. Vega sometimes causing desyncing, especially when using the fake wall dive. (PS3 and Xbox 360).
  6. Lobby list containing full rooms instead of only rooms that users can enter. (PS3 and Xbox 360).
  7. Zangief Super Motion not working on both sides and in both directions.
  8. During the start of the match, there is slight slowdown. This has been minimized as much as possible. (PS3).
  9. If connecting to a ranked match through the quick match function, it is best out of 3 rather than best out of 5. (PS3 and Xbox 360)
  10. Sending messages via XMB during a game causes a freeze. (PS3)
  11. Players not added to "Players Met" list. (PS3)
  12. Analog and D-pad can accept input at the same time. (PS3 and Xbox 360)
  13. Player stats not reporting correctly.

Had a chance to play some good matches with Kal. Pretty happy with how I did, even if I did lose most of 'em. I just want to learn how to play some other characters better so I can switch it up in vs.

You've got a pretty sick Akuma, RoXer. Though I didn't get to match up Bison with him, I'm sure you would have given me trouble then too.
