I honestly get caught by that a lot. I really don't know why I even crouch-block when someone's jumping anyway. Gotta write that out of my system.

I have hit about 65432345677654345 shoryukens/cannon spikes/sumo butt smashs/vertical rolls etc.. at the very start of the match, because they all jump right in as soon as "FIGHT!" dissapears. Often in subsequent rounds as well, which is proof of stupidity.

I use vega's wall jump specials as a fake out more than anything. You can control how much distance vega covers after the jump, so I usually immediately pull back, and they end up striking air, an leaving themselves open.

I have this habit from completing arcade mode so much of trying to hit a hurricane kick on someone just getting up. Threw my pad last time I did it because I can't stop myself!

Fucking hate it when a good cammy player corners you. Can't even teleport in time.

Still finding a good second fighter for ranked mode. Akumas lethal, but his life amount is a joke.

just destroyed a guy with the highest BP I've seen.. He used blanka and all he did was jump the entire match.

+ Library | + Wanted ListCapcom today unveiled its plans for post-release Street Fighter 4 content, as the company will offer a steady stream of costume packs as well as a Championship Mode Expansion Pack.

The Championship Mode expansion will be a free download, but no release date was mentioned. When it arrives, the downloadable content will bring with it:
Replay Mode - Record, upload, and download top matches to share with the Street Fighter IV community. Players can analyze top tiered fighters matches, leave voter feedback for others, and share their own triumphant victories.
New Points System - Two new points systems to measure your skill (Championship and Tournament Points)
Enhanced Tournament Matching System - Skill level matching system offers improved tournament match making for beginners and mid-level players. Competitors earn Grade Points (GP) to earn entry into more advanced tournaments.
Meanwhile, five costume packs containing alternative outfits for five characters will release weekly for 320 MS points on the Xbox Live Marketplace and $3.99 in the PlayStation store. The release schedule follows
2/17 - Brawler Pack DLC Pack will include alternate costumes for: Zangeif, E.Honda, Rufus, El Furete, and Abel.
2/24 - Femme Fatale Pack will include alternate costumes for: Chun-Li, Cammy, Sakura, Rose, and C.Viper.
3/3 - Shoruken Pack will include alternate costumes for: Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Gouken, and Dan.
3/10 - Shadowloo Pack will include alternate costumes for: Seth, M.Bison, Sagat, Balrog, and Vega.
3/17 - Classic Pack will include alternate costumes for: Guile, Dhalsim, Fei-Long, Blanka, and Gen.

Wasn't even playing very well, tbh. But fyi blitz, that jump spamming stuff will get you OWNED against good players. In fact, even I should have been able to counter it better, but I just couldn't put it together today, for some reason.

I though I read somewhere that Sagat was going to be very slighty nerfed too, as even Capcom has admitted he's too powerful.

Definitely think there should be more of a delay to the tiger shot.

His Tiger Shot seems no worse than it was in HD Remix, which was also a bit obnoxious. Atleast he doesn't juggle off Tiger Knee (good job Sirlin you dick).

This was also my biggest issue with Sakura's inclusion. On one hand this the definitive version of Sakura. Her animations and mannerisms seem to jump right off her various promo art. I think she's how Capcom always wanted her to be like. In this regard I can see how Capcom may want to keep her in the classic look.

On the other hand, she should be years older - at least older than Cammy, with whom she looks younger. Her alternate attire at least makes her seem 'weathered', that should of been her default.

Brawl's a fun game, and certainly deep(er than DOA4), but I'm not a high leveled enough competitor to pass judgment on the various changes on gameplay made since the last game.

Probably a legit disconnect. It's been happening to me as well. I hate getting disconnected after someone beats me. It looks really bad from his POV, I'm sure.

Random Thought:

So Vega can throw you from his charge-command leap, on the ground or in the air, yet he has no air-throw. Also, the command to throw the mentioned cases are archaic Street Fighter, why not make it a two-button command for consistency?

I've got HD Remix, I know all about it. It was more like a "WAHT?!? " sort ot response.

And yeah, For Brawl, all the top tier melee characters were nerfed to shit. For example, Captain Falcon's balance was that yeah, he's retardedly fast (movement-wise) and powerful, but most of his best attacks are pretty slow. Now he's got slightly better than average speed and strength, his range was shortened and his attacks are still slow.

It's like rather than balance everyone properly, they just crapped on the good characters and Sakurai's original characters get way better treatment. Plus tripping every 4 seconds is like punishment for being good at the game. Tourney fags are just that (fags), but they have a point. It's like Nintendo did everything it could to kill competition in the game.

I guess it wasn't their intention to appeal to the core fighting gamer base. I do remember Smash being surprisingly competitive, rather than expected to be taken that way.

Yeah, Melee was a huge leap forward from the original, but Brawl is like a couple of steps back. It's the little things that once the initial "OMG NEW SMASH BROS" feeling wears off, you notice a whole bunch of minor problems along with all the new improvements. And they still have clone characters, even after promising they wouldn't.

Anyway, this shit is about Street Fighter.
