I can actually pull off all of zangief's moves. Even the super and ultra. Was never able to hit the spinning piledriver as a kid.

GAH. I'm good with Vega, but Vega sucks. I like Guile and he's good, but I suck at using him. I can't even begin to get the hang of anyone else.

With as hugely improved as guys like Zangief are, I desperately wish they'd have kept Vega up to snuff.

Vega and guile's supers and ultras are stupid tho. Can't see myself being able to hit that in the middle of a match up. Should have just been a back and forth motion like all the other charge characters.

Yeeeaaaah. Vega's ultra is nearly impossible to do when I need to do it. I segued well to Guile because he's so similar to Vega, but Guile has the same problem when it comes to Supers and Ultras. He at least keeps up better with other characters, but I'm totally crippled by certain things I can't get the hang of. That, and his air throw is a little less rangetastic than Vega's.

lol yeah, first time I hit vega's ultra in training, he just zipped around and didn't even touch Dan. I was like, "Wait, what?" I guess it's mainly an anti air attack, and if you want to hit it on a grounded opponent, they have to be somewhere in the center of the screen.

And that's exactly why I can't break from Guile/Vega. =\ I get such a massive boner for air throws, and I can't imagine being even mildly capable without them. Especially against Shoryu spammers--that's some funny shit, catching them on their way down.

It's probably mad powerful, hence the difficulty and limitations. Chargers tend to have ridiculously good normals tho, so you may not even need them, really.

Same with Cammy's hooligan variable. That motion is obnoxious. I'd love for a patch to incorporate some HDR motions into the game. 1>9 motions and 360's are stupid, always have been.

Those moves aren't that hard for me. Honestly, I have more trouble doing Ken's Ultra than Vega or Guile's.

Rose's Soul Throw could snatch you out of the air as well. Snatching a shoto out of a Hurricane Kick is awesome, but tough to time.

Bison's Psycho Crusher should be armored against chi attacks by default. He should also have his Psycho Banish from Vs. SNK.

Since the NXE update, any game with 0 achievement points can be deleted. Turn on your Xbox, view your profile, view your games, anything with 0 points I think can be deleted by pressing X

After some training and a short session with RoXy, I've come to the following confirmations:

- You cannot cancel moves into Focus Attacks unless you have two or more EX Bars. Also, because of the slight nano-second lag on even the best connections, it would serve you right by pressing forward (or back) three times instead of two to dash out of Focus Attack. I am very happy I put FA on the left trigger.
- As with 3rd Strike, do not underestimate a good dash or backstep.

If you wanna make it even better You could mod it with Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons or maybe switch the gates underneath the joystick for more fluid motions. The standard Hori buttons tend to be a little unresponsive and a little too loose.

The Psycho Crusher, just by looks alone, seems like it could bypass fireballs. His EX Psycho Crusher is armored but I rather it be standard.

If I had it my way his Psycho-Flame induced punches would negate chi attacks as well. I do like his slightly faster recovery from teleporting.

Sound idea. Make it so certain moves are only executable or enhanced when the meter is filled up. Like you can only set a table on fire in Revenge mode or a Pedigree gets a more forceful animation than the regular one, etc.

I seen a bit of the SF4 movie that came with the SE game, and it's very good. I wanna watch the whole thing on DVD since people on YouTube have no fucking idea how to upload a vid without it skipping a scene.

I've already said earlier in the thread that I would do that if they were a problem, but I am perfectly happy with them right now. Everything feels great besides the weight of the stick itself.

Finally won my first match online playing as Zangief

Had some pretty epic bouts which we really close despite still losing in them so yeah I'm pretty pleased with that. I'm getting used to countering a bit more and timing my attacks just right still nowhere near what I'd call "good" but there is an improvement at least.

Does anyone know what Zangief says in one of his celebration taunts after winning a round? He says something, I'm guessing in Russian, when he points both his fingers in the air. I think he said the same thing in Street Fighter II where he points to the sky and then does a Hulk Hogan type pose. It's bugged me for a while now.

I tried searching Google but all I got was information saying he is a homosexual because he has the appearance of a stereotypical gay man by Japanese standard and he dislikes "Young beautiful ladies.". I never knew that.
