I like JamesSteele, but I don't like Triple H, and I'm more down on modern Triple H and pre-Reign of Terror Triple H than most people are.

Don't get me wrong, his work in 2000 was great. But there's this idea that he's responsible for that being a banner year for the company. That was all The Rock. Then he actually fucks Kurt Angle in the later part of that year. When he came back it wasn't long until he was tanking as a babyface. Since then he has meant nothing to business or my personal enjoyment of the show. He's obviously significant. I wouldn't argue otherwise. But he's not anywhere near as effective in that significant role as the company makes out, and people just gobble that shit up. When he was active he was constantly cutting down people around him so he would appear taller, and he would shoe-horn himself into stuff he had no business being involved in. That Triple Threat at WrestleMania XXIV -- what the fuck was that about? WrestleMania does better when he's not there, yet he's got to have this giant fucking entrance every year to remind us of how important it is when Triple H comes to town, even though no one gives a fuck. In 2011 the hottest angle they had somehow became Triple H vs. Nash. In 2012 he's wrestling The Undertaker for the third time at WrestleMania. In 2013 he's beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. In 2014 he tried to get the Punk match. In 2015 he's beating Sting at WrestleMania. In 2016 he's shoe-horned himself into the main event of their biggest show ever. Only a handful of people in the world see Triple H as the opponent of an act they're interested in and get more interested. |

I'm fine with HHH on the team +++ start of HHH/Angle +++ heel Jordan, who'll probably be revealed to be a fake implanted by THE GAME from the start... Braun <3 RIP Kane |

Remember that photo where Ric Flair was with Charlotte and they didn't even know Charlotte was a wrestler? Yeah.

Doesn't look like it.
Not like this forum needs him to be successful anyway. This place can get itself over without him blowing his load all over the place here. Not much of a load anyway, given how sterile he is, after a chimp raped him at the zoo. XD |

Was hoping they'd replace Jason Jordan with Tatanka but nope. Triple H as always.

I’m by no means a big Bray Wyatt fan but it bugs me how they handle him. Not only the clean pinfall loss, just the way they’re like “Oh, btw Bray is back tonight”.

They've ruined the Bray Wyatt character. He needs a new gimmick

They don't think anything is broken about Bray. They think they have their new Kane/Mankind, in that they have a guy they can always tell you is a main eventer and people will just believe it. He'll do a spooky promo and people will say "Oh man, that guy's tough" and then he'll lose and it'll somehow help.

It's going to be interesting. Brock vs. AJ could potentially be better than the WrestleMania main event. The elimination tag is going to have lots of "moments." It'll be interesting to see how they fuck it up.

It’s a bit of a mixed bag for me; AJ/Brock should be good but I’ve no interest in the other champ vs champ matches even if they do switch some components tonight. They’re all currently heel vs heel matches which is just odd, but the needle wouldn’t move for me if they switch Corbin out for Sin Cara.
The New Day vs Shield should be good, and there’s enough intrigue in the 5 on 5 with the guys in the match and the assorted fringe players (Kane, Zayn, Owens, Jordan, etc) So 3 matches that I’m interested in, sounds about par for the course if the last few PPVs are anything to go by. |

Good/Bad news regarding the ratings this week.
The good being it was an increase compared to last week and they had two hours in the 3+ million range for viewers. Also good for the yearly comparison being up considering the NFL season usually murders RAW's ratings. The bad being the 3rd hour suffering a big drop and caused a gap in the rankings for the WWE. Also possibly a sign of viewer fatigue with main event match antics involving Braun. Quote:

Wait, was that "Braun coming out from a hole in the ring" video from last night? I could have swore they did that exact thing like a year ago with Big Show or someone.
