Rey Mysterio.
Both were very entertaining in the ring but Rey gets the nod mainly for becoming a huge star in two major companies and having more memorable moments than RVD. In terms of WWE impact, could argue Rey played a big role in getting the WWE interested in cruiser wrestlers and giving them a mega star for the Latino market. While RVD was good for bringing over the ECW type crowd, his style itself didn't have the same impact since WWE already had others that were bigger stars (Jeff Hardy) or could easily replace him (ex. Shelton, Morrison, Kofi). |

You wouldn't want Rey Msyetrio's chest to become angry

Loved RVD for a while, but Rey is a fucking legend. I thought he was amazing in WCW, and he was a part of a lot of great stuff in WWE. I think some people want to take that away from him because of his World title run, but the way that he was booked was not his fault. Rey would go out there and have the best match of the night with a myriad of opponents for most of his WWE career. It's not fair to say that he was boring in WWE. If that's what boring is to you, wrestling may not be your thing.
All of that, plus Rey is STILL killing it in Lucha Underground today. It's gonna be hard for me to vote a lot of people over Mysterio. |

Does anyone remember that Intercontinental title match between Rey Mysterio and John Morrison on that random Smackdown that one time? That match was fucking shit hot. He could almost win on that alone.
I also remember attending a Smackdown where the main event was Rey Mysterio vs. Shawn Michaels. That shit was amazing too. Let's not forget about the Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho feuds. CM Punk, anyone? That's tip of the iceberg type shit. Quit calling this dude boring. |

The first few years of Rey's run in the WWE are the reason he got the belt. Even after the bad title run he had some fantastic matches. It was only when he started being injured ALL OF THE TIME that the in ring work wasn't good anymore. And I mean what can you do when you're immobile because of a bad knee and your whole game is based on being quick and agile?

There was also a really great match he had with John Cena for the WWE Title on Raw in 2011 https://youtu.be/vt7bxtPEAYg |

I really have no idea why WWE doesn't knock down John Morrisons door. Fuck these ROH punks they may sign, John Morrison is the full package.

They're signing Kyle O Riley. He wouldn't even be allowed within 20 miles of the palace of wisdom if it came to charisma.
I'd actually disagree slightly though. Pre-taped things like The Dirt Sheet and Lucha Underground storylines he's been great in. They could work around his live mic limitations and hide his weaknesses. Shame WWE doesn't do that with any guy. |

I think he had a really good match with The Miz to win that tournament before Cena came back, too.

I think Morrison has come a long way in the charisma department, but Destor doesn't watch Lucha Underground, so he wouldn't know.

If they wouldn't ruin it, I'd love WWE to sign the whole Worldwide Underground, complete with playing guitar riffs when they do their pose in the ring.
