Ohhhhhhhh you're killing me. I fucking LOVE Sid and Hall.
Sid had the better career easily but Hall was the better worker by far. Sid is probably the biggest missed opportunity in history. Sid by a hair. |

Scott Hall had a better performance on Jerry Springer than Sid had in "River of Darkness"

Damn, these last two or three polls haven't been fucking around. All guys I really like.
I'm gonna have to go with Hall though. He could've been more than he was if not for his demons but going back and watching so much old Diamond Studd and Razor Ramon stuff has been a real treat. |

When Scott was no longer any good...Sid was still shit. Sid's best runs (96-97 stands out most) were amazing, but overall he came up short. |

I remember being a mark for Sid back in the day when I was a teenage mark, though. Goldberg vs. Sid Vicious at Halloween Havoc '99 was THE GREATEST match of all time that I was pumped for.

Sid was actually a insider wrestling fan favourite if you can believe that when he was one half of the Skyscrapers. People forget too how over Sid was in 96 to the point they were chanting Sid during Shawn Michaels "lost my smile" interview. Sid was the fucking man.
Sid just did Sid things and sabotaged his own run. I contend a face Sid in 92 could have taken the reigns from Hogan and run with it had he not went "all Sid" again. |

This is hard.
Sid had such a presence and was so charismatic. Can remember being so into Psycho Sid. Will have to abstain for now |

Tough choice but went with Hall.
Toss up in terms of character/gimmick since both had really good ones and give Hall the nod in terms of promo and in-rings skills. Sid did have some pretty cool moments and a great entrance theme as Pycho Sid but the same could be said of Hall and the Razor theme. |

Absolutely love Sid but have to go with Hall overall. Definitely better in the ring and on the mic. Factor in Hall's impact on the business and you have a clear cut winner.

Sid had his own streak at Rasslemania vs the Taker. Hall was way better than Capt. Poopy Pants

Is this about having mad Softball skills? That's just as relevant as DDPY.

Hall is a bit overrated as far as his in ring stuff goes. Yes, he had some solid matches - but mainly with solid performers. At times he oversold, was a bit sloppy, etc. and he - like Sid - sabotaged his own career.
Sid is a semi-talented guy with a great build / look, moved decently for a guy his size and worked well for the roles he had; it's just that, like Scott, he couldn't get his shit together unless it was in his tights. He wasn't half as good as Hall was on the mic, even on a bad day for Hall, so from the charisma standpoint - Hall it is. |

Yeah I was never really a fan of Sid Vicious. He used to be one of the guys that made me want to flip to the other channel during the Monday Night Wars.
Scott Hall is way to sweet for this. |

I enjoyed both roughly the same. Hall had a bit of a better character as Razor Ramon IMO

Sid was almost always over as heel or a face and had a much higher ceiling that Hall.
He outpopped Hogan in the Rumble back in the day and WWE changed the reaction for the network. That's what is making me second guess this one. Massive mark for both growing up though |

Hall as Razor rarely had a bad match and had the fans involved in all of his matches. He was very athletic for a big guy.

Sid main evented Mania and was a World champ wherever he went. He had the look, presence, charisma and was massively over at times in his career. Think he has been done a disservice here |

Sid got the breaks because his look was the shit and he had a certain je ne c'est quois about him. But there is not even a question that Scott Hall was much better than him in every way.
Razor Ramon may not have been given a full on main even push, but was more over than Sid for longer periods of time and was a more memorable character than Sid, not his fault Vince never gave him the ball to run with (though it could be his fault with drugs and whatnot)... and 1996-near the end of 1997 Scott Hall in WCW helped changed the business. |

I just think it's cheesy. I'm just some internet fan. To me it's "pro wrestling" not "the business". It's usually what smarks say to sound smart because they hear their favourite wrestlers say it.

I get it if you're a worker, as it is in fact your "business" and profession.

And what qualifies it as THE business. It is "A" business.

Sid could have been one of the best if he had the drive to do so. Hall would have been one of the best if he could have stayed clean. Hall gets my vote.

We're all fans and we understand "the business" to a certain degree but for some reason that phrasing really just grates my nerves.
