Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams
This starts tonight in the U.K. on Channel 4 as a 10 episode anthology series.
First episode stars Richard Madden (Robb Stark, Game of Thrones) and other episodes will feature the likes of Timothy Spall, Terrence Howard, Steve Buscemi, Bryan Cranston, Juno Temple, and more. For those not familiar with his work (which must be very few people) his works have been turned into major motion pictures such as Blade Runner, Total Recall, The Adjustemt Bureau, and Minority Report. Anybody planning to watch this? Is it airing in the US? |

With a cast like that it is guaranteed to air in the states at some point. I actually missed it after being all amped up for it, was the first episode any good then?
This one was about a war between normal people and people who can read minds or something wasn't it? I bought his book "The Man In The High Castle" earlier this year but I still haven't read it. I did hear that Rupert Evans is starring in the show based on it though so I'll have to see it after I'm done with the book. |

I think you'd like Look Who's Back by Timur Vermes.
Hitler reappears in modern Germany one morning with no idea how he got there. Comedy ensues. |

Electric Dreams first episode was pretty crap to be honest. I quite like Richard Madden but that storyline was guff.

Yeah it was very “run-of-the-mill”.

No need for the quotation marks mate, it really was run of the mill. And this was a whitebread mill at that.
