okay that earth cave business is nuts. Did it for about 40 minutes and probably got over 50 engrams. No legendaries but I'd say almost half were rare, and I was able to increase my light level.

Only thing is one time when a guy went to gather the loot, a veritable shitstorm of majors and ultras started spawning fucking everywhere. If there weren't orbs of light lying around everywhere we all would have died.

It's an event involing the Awoken Queen. Knock off some bounties and you get to what seem to be strike missions to "take out enemies against the Queen".

It's the same thing as doing vanguard/crucible missions. Do enough of it to get to rank 2 and you unlock some rare weapons/armor/class stuff.

sounds fun. Assuming there's a minimum level for the strike though. We couldnt delve too deep into anything yesterday because Mitch was lvl 17.

Hell, Im only a level 20 because I cant seem to get decent gear. Suppose I could grind Vanguard rank and buy the "light" gear.

I like it. You are rewarded randomly for playing PVP with "drops" (post match) much like PVE is random drops. I would hate it if only the guys doing the winning got the great drops.

This is fair. it rewards all players for playing any mode. Obviously guys grinding more time will pull away and get more exotic gear, but I dont mind that its fair to the casual player. Winning tons of PVP will get you Crucible gear faster than casual guys, but even the little guy gets a bone.

Did a mission for the Queen. Died twice, but not too, too bad. Base level is 24 but it's "very hard" mode. The missions have 3 of those special modifiers attached and at the end I got a legendary chest piece. Most likely part of a larger set.

I've got three tokens from queen's bounties so far. Not gonna get the other 2 since they're crucible bounties.

But if any one wants to do the missions with me today, hit me up if you see me online. From what I hear, the legendaries you get as reward are completely unique.

Not really. These can be soloed no problem. 4 runs today for the Queen's missions. 3 legendary chest pieces, a mask, and a sniper rifle. And unless someone's had a different mission. 2 Black Garden missions, 2 Vex spire in Cabal territory missions. Actually not so bad, it's the overpowered small frys that have given me the most trouble so far.

Some genius at Bungie thought it was a good idea to launch a patch a midday today. Icon showed up after restart one of those chest pieces turned into gloves. Got to the tower, still got the chestpiece.

Dunno. Walked in on the Venus farm spot and some guy was there and had some Vex majors on him. Which isn't normal for that spot. Tried to drop a few, but he died and they disappeared.

So I guess the cave is still open for business. Unless there's a line.

There's a tip going around where if you don't like the mission you're going on for Queen's Wrath, you can drop out during loading and you won't lose your token/credit for unlocking the mission.

Lots of people doing the very first mission where you're looking for warp drive and killing Riksis in the end. You're done in 5-10 minutes tops.

The only things that are for the Queen are the missions, and the bounties. No strikes or playlists.

I've got a bunch of tokens from completing queen's bounties, so I'll mostly be doing the missions.

What level are you at now miotch?

They might not even be showing up for you since you're only level 18. they are on the left hand side of the destination screen with the daily story mission and daily strike. You also have to complete a queens bounty first

That weekly heroic strike is no joke. Spent two hours trying to tackle the final boss and didnt get close.

Find a friend. The trick is to distract him and take turns laying on the damage from opposing sides. Do NOT group together even in the same 90 degree span.

Blade Dancer is a lot of fun, but the greatest satisfaction I get in this game is nailing headshots with the throwing knife, so I'm going with Gunslinger. Better for taking out tough enemies anyway.
