Bungie revealed a couple of new details with the biggest being loot not being tradeable with friends.

I'm fine with this, though I was never into the MMO genre and its traditional systems. Is this MAKE or BREAK for many people?

Not really. People just like to help their friends out by giving them shit without knowing anything about the game. Doubt it will effect sales or the community in anyway.

Digital version for XB360 will launch 1pm EST on Tuesday on XBL.

Since they're kinda vague on how long this will last, I'm having a friend log me in to his XB1 and downloading the free XB1 version just so I may have the license. After that I'll be on 360 and the next-gen version will be waiting whenever I make the jump.

Me and a bud been rocking it to level 8. Warning; hard mode is quite harder than the beta's hard mode. On a few occasions did we die and had to respawn at a checkpoint.

How does difficulty work in a game like this?

Like if you are on normal can you not team up with people who are on hard?

Never been great at shooters, so was just going to hit up normal.

I bought the Destiny PS4 yesterday, I haven't been able to plug the PS4 in yet but reading the manuals in Destiny it said the day 1 release bonus codes were only good that day so it looks like I lost the 3 bonus, oh well. Even though I'm really mad about that, what I am concerned about is that the games front and back labels which should be only in english are only in french, so if my copy of Destiny that came with the PS4 is in french, I'm fucked.

Waiting on purchasing for this reason. With work + classes, play time is very limited except when off work. Usually though, that means homework. Try to knock that shit out Friday morning so I can have the rest of the weekend.

Soloed a mission on The Moon on hard difficulty this morning. I was overleveled on normal so I kicked it up a notch and brought me to a level playing field. Not much of a difference. The stronger enemies gave me a little trouble. But when a lot of 'em come in waves, it took me by surprise. Did a 3 times, but I figured it out.

Just did a few missions with Pwners and his bud. Loving how the game feels so far. I was a little worried, because I could never get into Halo's combat. Just never clicked for me.

While it's somewhat similar, it's different enough that I'm really liking it. Being able to aim down the sights helps. The guns just feel better to me as well though.

Played a mission on hard and yeah, we got fucked up, but were always able to keep at least one of us alive for revives and got through.

Can't wait to unlock the Hunter sub class and start knifin' around.

I dunno, my friends aren't on all the time, and it would be a lot easier getting fireteams going with randoms if there was just basic drop in, drop out gameplay for missions like in GTA V.

Note: Control is not quite like other Domination/Conquest modes in other games. Holding zones in itself won't build the score. The captured zones act as multipliers for kills. This makes it essentially another kind of deathmatch. I didn't know till recently so I thought I'd share.

Tactically the approach is the same, except you can't be as cozy defending a zone. What I do is make sure the team has two zones like other games, but confront enemies on routes between zones.

The radar is just ass, but I'm learning to use it better.

I guess I should finally put this in tonight. I pre-ordered it back after playing the Alpha and after the Beta came out I just lost interest. I picked it up hoping I would want to play it with some people but I'm so backlogged at the moment that I still havnt even removed it from the gamestop bag.

Discovered that the higher level you are, the likely you're gonna get stuck with level 20+ players. Landed myself a rare weapon early with some pop. Felt like I was using a squirt gun.

Found myself doing a lot of patrolling and beacon missions to level up my new Bladedancer subclass for my Hunter and to get gear leveled up and upgraded.
