Somewhat not surprised considering he wasn't getting many post-WWE bookings to begin with. Outside of the usual few, indie companies are starting to become a lot more aware towards the damage done to their image if they book certain wrestlers now.

Considering Impact's boss wanted to get rid of El Patron after his own domestic violence allegations, them not immediately swooping in on another "WWE Reject" makes sense. Took a lot to get him to warm up on letting El Patron stay in the company.
