On a semi-related note I downloaded GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas off of Steam as I haven't played any of them in ages. Gonna relive the great memories before GTA 5 comes out. |

I've been replaying San Andreas while my wife watches. She is slow to learn new control schemes but it's been entertaining.
She was doing well until a police cruiser nailed her on the bicycle while chasing someone. She is likev"The hell, I didn't do any...wait they hit me and are chasing someone else?" Me: "Get used to that, happens a lot. " |

I remember letting my aunt play Vice City when I was younger. She drove within what would be the speed limit, she stopped at lights, stayed on the correct side of the road, she never over took and, when an ambulance was driving by, she pulled over to let it past. If she ever hit anyone or their car she'd be apologetic about it.
I'm going to miss that kind of thing when we eventually reach an era in which everyone is totally used to games and just plays them as you'd imagine they would. I'm going to try and get her to play GTA V when she comes over for Christmas this year. |

The guy in LCS is the guy from that mission I mentioned above, I'm sure. It has been 10+ years, though.

In GTA4 people would hit you if you stopped at lights.

Yeah, that was Mafia, I remember reading about it in a magazine. it's one of those things you'd experience when you first played the game and think "Oh, cool!" but, after 10 hours you'd be getting annoyed at it.

Surprised they never tried a San Andreas Stories, but I guess that's what this one is sort of going to be like.

They easily coulda done one with sweet, or the ballas, for the one of the main antagonists for GSF we really know nothing about them, and only heard one of their members by name.

Might have been hinted or announced before by Rockstar but according to Famitsu, the customization options in the game even extend to dogs and accessories.

I just read a little bit of info that could be new if it isn't fake.
Apparantly, when you hunt an animal, you can sell it's meat to places like Burgershot. Also, Micheal can rob ATMs which is done through a mini-game. |

I went on a GTA forum and suggested that, with all the work they put into caring for Chop being gameplay, would it be likely that they'll also input that gameplay into Micheal looking after his kids.
People started to think I was asking for some kind of Sims gameplay and that I was wishing for it, when, in reality, I was pointing out that it would be a bit pointless to stick that stuff in for just a dog. |

I was flicking through old posts in this thread and came across the below post. Some of the info is actually in the game. Not obvious stuff either. Cars can be repaired/upgraded You can make the car leave trails of petrol and ignite them Triatholons Character customization Possibly human sheilds, if the gameplay vid is any indication Stats and improving stats Weapon customization That's quite a few things he got right. It's not obvious stuff either. Weapon customization and the petrol thing would have sounded highly unlikely to anyone who didn't know. Perhaps the other things mentioned are also true. Quote:

A small group of people think 83 could be a hint as to when we'll see MP info. Their reasoning is that 83 is on the front of the bike in the latest batch of screenshots and, during the gameplay video, you see the character wheel in the bottom right. The character wheel has a silhouette of a 4th character that people assume is our MP character. The silhouette has the text "83 days" across it. They take all this to mean we'll see MP info on the 3rd of August or August 3rd, if you're American (8/3).
That's a Saturday but they still think it could be a hint. |

I remember reading a rumour that MP would have more players in one room. 32 or 64. I can't recall which. Likely 32.

I've always thought it would be cool to have an "All TPWW" room in a RDR or GTA multiplayer room.

There are signs all over Wal-Mart and Gamestop's 360 sections telling you to preoder the game... does that count?
