How do you organize your music?
Do you organize your music as singles or albums? Which media library do you use?

I download the whole album in hopes that one day I will grow to love it. If this proves to be impossible, only then will I delete it.

I use iTunes, so everythings organized by song name, artist, album, genre, rating, play count and year

For the sake of ease on my iPod, the only time I label a song with its album is if I have the full album. Otherwise I group the other songs into an "album" called 'Singles'.
So if I only have one album by a band, their folder on my iPod will consist of that album's folder and then the singles folder will have everything else by them (I move the songs out later if they are part of another album I end up collecting the full version of). |

All of you guys who were my soulseek friends black in the day know the score. Generally don't bother with the file names so long as the tags are good because once they go into iTunes and then the iPod they're sorted in a similar manner. |

Program (Exaile) -> Album
Folder Structure -> Album -> Track Except for singles, which get thrown into one folder/album. |

any new album i download goes into a new folder
ive been way too lazy to organize everything else, so like half my collection is singles, and half is folders. Itunes automatically orders them anyways so wahtever. |

Then, by order the album came out. So like it would be Metallica's ...Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets (and so on) then The Misfit's, Motorhead and so on. Or at least that is how I store the cd's. But I only ever listen to my ipod, I haven't bought a CD for myself in years.
