DC's Legends of Tomorrow on CW
"EVERYTHING YOU DO IS A PIECE OF A PLANE PLUMMETING TOWARDS A PITIFUL, DYING EARTH BUT YOUR ART, WHAT YOU CREATE IS STEPPING ONTO THE BURNING WING AND FORGETTING SILLY THINGS LIKE LIFE AND DEATH FOR A MOMENT JUST TO ENJOY FOR ONE SECOND A GLIMPSE OF BEAUTY BEFORE YOU ARE REDUCED TO ASHES" - Marilyn Manson 12-15-1999 Last edited by dronepool; 05-14-2015 at 04:06 PM. |

I demand this thread title be changed to "DC's Legends of Tomorrow on CW".
Anyways.... this has me 100%. Huzzah at Ray Palmer shrinking. More shrinking action, less C-rate Iron Man action. |

When I heard this announced, I was kinda "ehhhhh", but based on the trailer I'm feeling a bit more positive.
Had a hunch when the initial blurb mentioned "immortal threat" that they might be using Vandal Savage. |

I get what they are "going for", but I really wish they let Captain Cold have more than one tone to his voice other than the "cold detached" one. Especially if he is to be a main character in a series.
I miss Slade Wilson. Wish he was on the team, if they were gonna include villains. |

I don't understand are the Flash and the Arrow going to be in both this and there are own series?
Also, why have two fire-based heroes on the same team? KANEFUSED. |

I think Arrow and Flash were just setting them up before bailing on the reject heroes.

Just wait till you are in prison and need him to get you out.
But yeah, that one tone is not the character but the actor being monotonous. |

Yeah, but he is being monotonous because that is the "character" they are going for.

Watch him play any role and be amazed at the exact same monotonous voice: Prison Break, Resident Evil movie etc

definitely a lot of potential for cool stories. jonah hex is apparently on the cards to pop up in a 'western' time-period episode at least, so i'd be down for exploration of the past and future. hawkman won me over during the crossovers last year, despite also not being sold on that initial promo pic. but they made it work, imo, so i'm pretty optimistic about this. looking forward to the premiere tomorrow
weird that they'd be looking at a solo hawkgirl show though, esp if they're working on a live-action vixen effort too, which is apparently happening. dunno; also hope captain cold still appears in the flash. too important a rogue to just go total hero and never bother barry again |

Not really memorable. Music was good though. |

Yeah, it wasn't great, but I'm willing to see where it goes.
I'm kinda surprised that they split the pilot into two episodes and didn't show them on the same night. |

I think it will get better in time. Everyone pretty much knew what the first episode would be and it was just an itroduction. I do think that this show will be the best of the CW shows by the end of the season. Alot of places for them to go and alot of different character angles for them to play with. Going to be tough to top The Flash though.

Thought it was pretty good. Now that the pilot is over it should get deeper. Good to know Martin was a pot head.

All in all, thought the show was generally "good fun", but a lot of the time pretty confusing and "time paradoxy" if you try to think about it too hard.

Pretty sure he's returning on Flash and Legends. Don't think he's dead so I'm interested to see where he's at. One of my favorite characters on the show.
