Kinda want a resolution to her story with Ember Moon, though....... I think I would like it if they picked back up on it when Ember Moon debuts on the main roster. Ember can be all "Hey, I'm the only one you ever felt the need to take shortcuts and bend the rules with, and I know I can beat you."

There's not even a Takeover before she'll be ready. Fucking stupid.

Well, if the plan was to have her give up the title and move up anyways, they need the time before the TakeOver to set the stage for crowning a new champ.
Just means that her debut on the main roster, and plans for her there, are delayed. Which could be a good thing, because now her debut will maybe be more of a "surprise" and not just a standard "debut after Summerslam" |

Apparently they didn't even mention the injury when they announced she was dropping the title though?
They just had Regal say that he was in "negotiations with Raw and SmackDown" to move her there and that's why she had to drop the title so maybe the injury is real, I guess, if they didn't even bring it up |

Calling it right now - they'll hold her out "injured" way longer than they need to and she'll wind up debuting in January during the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble.

I like that idea. Will be big hype AND she will get to sit at home and practice her English for TV.

I know you're joking, but since Funaki isn't around anymore it wouldn't be a bad idea to pair her with Shinsuke Nakamura and make her his hoe. His gimmick is kind of like the godfather's gimmick as is, might as well give him some hoes. This would do wonders for Asuka as well as her gimmick now won't translate to the main roster but I think everybody could get behind her as Shinsuke's hoe.

I stand corrected. Either way though with Funaki inactive I think my plan makes more sense. Hopefully WWE sees this and makes her Shinsuke's hoe instead of Funaki. Would actually be interesting if they also made Funaki one of Shinsuke's hoes too.

If she had adrenaline flowing she probably knew the collarbone was broken but couldn't feel it at the moment. Broke mine playing football and tried to continue but they wouldn't let me, shouldn't have told them it was broke really as it didn't start hurting until I started taking my pads off.

Yeah, Asuka winning the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble makes sense at this point. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka at WrestleMania seems like a good match.
I'm curious to know how good Funaki actually is as a commentator. |

Also, Flair vs. Asuka is about as big of a women's match as it gets in the current landscape of the WWE. If done correctly that could Main event WrestleMania. |

It'd be a feel good moment if Ric is healthy enough to accompany his daughter to ringside.

I think it'd be better to have Asuka beat Charlotte at one of the B PPV's. Then have Ric Flair come out (if he's outta the hospital, if not have him do an interview via satellite from the hospital room or something) and have him challenge Asuka at WrestleMania. Could even have the feel good story of Ric coming out of the hospital and avenging his daughter's loss while also ending Asuka's undefeated streak.
