I think a lot of belts are switching shows --
I think Joe will end up w/ the Universal Title after Backlash on SD Nia on SD w/ Women's Title Carmella on RAW w/ Women's Title AJ on RAW w/ WWE Title Seth on SD w/ IC Title Jinder on RAW w/ US Title Moving to RAW also: Nakamura Charlotte Ruby Riott Liv Morgan Uso's Bobby Roode Naomi Rusev Randy Orton Dolph Ziggler Baron Corbin Moving to SD: Miz Sasha Bayley Revival Sonya Deville Dean Ambrose Asuka Not sure where Big Cass will go when he returns tho |

I think a SD main-event scene of Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, The Miz, Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan could be really good. I think Finn Balor is staying on RAW but if he goes to SD throw him in that mix too.

I don't watch Smackdown so I'd like to see more of AJ and Shinsuke and some of the top women
On Raw, I wouldn't care if Ambrose, Braun, Bailey, Sasha, Gallows, Anderson, Revival, and pretty much most of the undercard guys switched over. |

I hope it's only like 3 or 4 people per brand. Way to many people switched last year.

I agree with this thinking. I feel like if too many people switch at once, the shows will lose their distinct identity. I'm not in favour of having a draft every year. Instead, I'd like to see the GM's of each show conduct trades with one another on semi-frequent occasions. Make it like a professional sport. For example - trading Rusev + 2 NXT talents to RAW for Braun Strowman.

I think Randy Orton and The Miz will switch brands. Natalya will end up on Raw to work with Ronda Rousey. Everything else is so hard to predict, because it's all rather arbitrary.

Remember when they moved Wyatt mid feud with Randy and beginning of his Harper feud? That was wonderful.

Maybe Seth. They're definitely not going to leave SD stuck without a secondary championship.

The Miz will probably win it at Backlash. Either that or they trade someone else and they win the Ladder Match in Saudi for Smackers. It felt like Raw was a farewell for either Seth, Braun or Finn (obviously).
Watching Raw, the only move I really feel safe with are Absolution and The Bar moving. Maybe The Revival? Who knows? Maybe Titus Worldwide are going too? They seemed to get a goodbye. If that even means anything. This company is too hard to track. |

All told, there were 13 wrestlers or teams traded directly from SmackDown to Raw. I could see SmackDown getting fewer people under the guise that they were willing to sacrifice more wrestlers in exchange for bigger name talent which, given that they have one less hour, isn't the worst idea. Most of those low card SmackDown guys that got moved never get used at all especially with SmackDown not even having a B-show.
If SmackDown lands Asuka, Balor, and either Rollins or Jeff that's honestly plenty in terms of big names considering they already have AJ, Nakamura, Bryan, Miz, Orton, Charlotte, Becky, and RUSEV DAY. Could make for a packed 2 hours every week. |

The problem is that Raw got a pretty raw deal. I mean, they may not think about it like that, but they could definitely use some damn workers on Raw. Reigns, Braun, Corbin, Rawley, Jinder...fuck me. I'm sure SmackDown is going to be loaded with shit in response. Again, I'm sure they don't think of it as shit, but what are the chances that SmackDown is going to be Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Shin Nakamura, Finn Balor, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ray Stevens, etc. Do you know what I mean?
Unless Vince has decided that he wants to make Raw a heavyweight show and SmackDown a show for the nerds. I wouldn't be against that. As an experiment, I drew the weight limit at 230lbs and put the guys over on Raw and the guys under on SmackDown, and you actually got surprisingly balanced and interesting rosters. The biggest tag team splits came when Jimmy and Jey were split, Gallows and Anderson were split, and Big E was moved from Kofi and Woods. Jimmy has since lost weight. Fuck Gallows and Anderson as a team. Big E could use some solo spotlight anyway. That's not what they're doing, but I wouldn't mind it if they did. Raw got out with John Cena, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, Roode, Cesaro and Sheamus, in terms of guys who can go with some size behind them. Smackers got Bryan, Styles, Nakamura, Ambrose, Rollins, Balor, Zayn, Ziggler and Angle. Put the women with the bigger guys for some variety. Cruiserweight Division can be folded and inserted onto SmackDown to make the other guys look bigger. You can call up Sanity to Raw (not their biggest fans, but whatever) and Undisputed Era to SmackDown, where their size won't make them as top heels really weird looking. |

I figure they will bring Jeff Hardy over with the US title so they don't have to bring Seth over to even them out.

I'm not sure what that means. I mean, Rusev was at Raw, wasn't he? Aren't most of the roster going to be there? None of those swaps would surprise me, although I'm not sure how Paige knew that Jeff was going to be the US Champion when she swapped for Jinder. Maybe she and Kurt struck a deal that Jinder would get traded and Jeff would get a title shot, and if he won, Jeff would go to SmackDown, but if not Seth would go? That won't be explained. It's just WWE logic gap stuff.

Kind of hope he just becomes a bodyguard for somebody. I don't really want him around Shinsuke Nakamura, but Cass as his "big, dumb American" would be funny for a week. I dunno. Fuck it.

I was going to guess Natalya, Ryder and Breezango to Raw but I thought "Nah, nobody cares about them so they won't be getting moved". I was going to guess Roode but I thought I had enough "big names" moving to Raw that Roode would be too much. I was also going to guess Big Cass going to SmackDown but I thought "He's injured, so no". |

Anyway, I think once again SmackDown got a bit shafted when it came to The
Raw I think Mahal being on Raw is going to be good and it'll help freshen him up as he was at the beginning of getting a bit stale on SmackDown. Winning The US Title looked to be the start of something interesting but obviously that's out the window now that he lost it to Jeff Hardy. Hopefully he'll chase The Intercontinental Championship. I really don't care about The Riott Squad, so cool. I guess. I really can't see them amounting to much as a team but if they are going to remain as a team, then I'll have to get ready for countless Riott Squad VS "Three Random Faces" matches. We all knew Owens & Zayn were going to Raw. We all also saw The Miz heading to SmackDown. I was actually pretty happy to see Breezango on Raw. I quite enjoy them and hopefully they can become Raw's top face team this year, but looking at the teams on Raw, I don't think that'll be hard. I was surprised to see Natalya going to Raw for reasons I've just mentioned. I get the feeling however that after what looks like an angle with Rousey finishes, Natalya will go back into somewhat obscurity in the Women's Division, just like she did on SmackDown. All I can say about Ziggler being on Raw is that if he doesn't amount to anything on Raw, then he HAS to go. There would be absolutely no point of him sticking around and this has got to be the final of all final chances to revive his career in WWE. If this had happened a few years ago and he was drafted to Raw, I would have been excited and surprised to see him. Now, nothing. When he appeared on Raw, I just didn't give a fuck. I feel however that he could possibly chase the Tag Team Titles, but we'll see. Now, this is a move I really didn't expect to see and caught me by complete surprise. Drew McIntyre. The pairing of McIntyre and Ziggler is an interesting one but I can't really see it lasting all that long. If they're still a pair after SummerSlam, I'll be surprised. I don't know what it is though, but I don't really find myself caring about McIntyre either. I was never really his biggest fan to begin with during his first run but I did like him and that show was SmackDown. Now, something's changed and I'm more "meh" towards McIntyre now. I don't know about Bobby Roode being on Raw. I always felt SmackDown was a prefect fit for Roode. He's one of those guys that when you think of him, you think of a show along with him. Away from TV and Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Mike Kanellis, The Ascension and Chad Gable were all announced as going to Raw. All cool, I guess. I just hope they get used and not just as jobbers, even though I think that'll definitely happen with Ryder and The Ascension but I really want to be proved wrong with that. Rawley is an interesting one as he's done sweet fuck all since turning heel. I just hope we don't get The Hype Bros. back. Now Mike Kanellis and Chad Gable are also interesting, but the good kind of interesting. The type of interesting that makes me happy, as them being on Raw looks promising. I really hope Kanellis drops his entire gimmick as it was just awful. It gives me hope that it very well could happen as Maria is still on SmackDown. As for Gable, I've wanted Gable on Raw as a singles competitor for a long time now. I think his move to Raw was done now as the Jason Jordan joke fell flat and completely ruined the man and it's now over. I just hope we don't get American Alpha back once Jordan recovers. If we do, It would be cool if it was for one night and then after the match, either Gable or Jordan turns on the other. That would be good, and the more I think about it, the more I think that it will happen. SmackDown I can't say I was surprised that Jeff is now on SmackDown. The whole "winning a SmackDown championship on Raw and then moving to SmackDown the next day" has been done before. I'm just glad he's on SmackDown and can't be tainted by the God-awful Matt Hardy shit. Absolution going to SmackDown seems absolutely pointless. We had their SmackDown counterparts head over to Raw only for them to go to SmackDown? Why not stay on Raw, find a third woman and have an feud with The Riott Squad? It would be much better than those countless Riott Squad VS "Three Random Faces" matches I mentioned before. With Paige (sadly) the GM of SmackDown, I can only assume that was why Absolution and The Riott Squad were swapped. I really wasn't expecting Samoa Joe at all. I'm now waiting for Styles/Joe and countless TNA chants. I'm not familiar with Sanity, so to me, this is interesting. I did notice that they didn't have Nikki Cross with them for some reason. I can only assume that much like Cass, Enzo and Carmella, Triple H has seperate plans for her, most likely next year. Speaking of Cass, I wasn't expecting to see him. Still a heel but I don't think being on SmackDown will do much for him. Even though I do like him a tiny bit, I just can't help but think that he's the new Baron Corbin on SmackDown. Much like Owens/Zayn and The Miz, we all knew Asuka was moving. I can only hope Gallows & Anderson will be a success on SmackDown. There's some decent teams on SmackDown so it gives me hope that they will be. Cesaro & Sheamus being on SmackDown is pretty stupid as that pretty much makes it a certainty that Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt will win the titles at The Greatest Royal Rumble. Which is worrying. However, this could mean that much to STD's jizz-fueled enjoyment, that The Revival will be awarded Cesaro & Sheamus' place next week on Raw. If they are, I can see them winning the titles. Shock of the night here: R-Truth is on SmackDown! This Superstar Shake-up is just out of control! Even though I'm not familiar with the NXT guys when they make the jump to the main roster, I can't help but think that Andrade Almas & Zelina Vaga's announcement was really poor. Finding out via a terrible mobile phone promo is just not the way to go. Whoever thought up the idea to record promos via phones and then edit them on Window's Movie Maker should be skinned and burned alive*. They're just awful. God-awful. *Not really. A slap in the face would do. Overall, Raw got the better names and more people, which isn't a surprise. After this, I feel that Raw's Tag Team Division is worse off than it already was and to a lesser extent, the Women's Division too. SmackDown's Tag Team Division has gotten better and it was already the better division to begin with. |

As I was watching the first hour of Smackdown, I was wondering seeing how how they made off like bandits getting all this great talent while getting rid of Corbin, Ziggler, Jinder and Kanellis.
Then it became obvious it was all to offset Big Ass. Shame about SD losing Gable. |
