Wrestling shirts in public
Do you wear your wrestling shirts in public? What kind of comments do you get about them if any?
I have a couple that I wear in my regular rotation (the CM Punk white one, a Cactus Jack Wanted, and a Bret Hart one from his first return) and generally I get people starting conversations related to the shirts. How much they hope Punk will come back, how they used to watch when Bret and Foley were wrestling, having met Foley or other wrestlers. It's kind of a cool thing. Does this happen to any of you guys? "My belly's just a little big, my heinie's just a little big, but bruddah, I'm bad and they know I'm bad." - Dusty Rhodes

I saw a guy in the gym wearing an nWo wolfpac shirt, I wasn't able to talk to him because he was far away but it automatically made him 10 points cooler in my book.

I only have one with an entire RAW roster from a few years back.
I don't really wear it in public, if I did people would probably assume I'm hot for oiled up buff men, cause wrestling is not popular here at all. |

I don't really have many WWE shirts - just my Bayley "I'm a hugger" shirt.
I do wear other wrestling shirts in public, like my Nacho Man shirt. |

Nope. The only place I would think about wearing one is at the gym or during a run though.

Yep. No shame in what I wear.
Still have a Miz shirt with the Haters Love me on front and Cuz I'm Awesome on the back. People seem to REALLY love that one because it exudes confidence and people like confident people. Also wear all my "evil" shirts too. Favorite of mine (which I had to stop once my son learned to read) is "How dare I wear this fucking shirt in front of your god damn child!". |

I have only seen the following wrestling T-shirts in public:
1) CM Punk Best in the World 2) Daniel Bryan Yes 3) Balor Club 4) Bullet Club 5) nWo Everyone wearing them looked like the kind of person you can imagine wearing wrestling T-shirts in public. |

The nWo shirt gets people talking, the other shirts don't really get any attention. I wear one out in public every chance I get to.

Yup, wear 'em all the time. Ain't no shame in rocking a t-shirt of something you love in public. Get a lot of comments on the Sheamus "Celtic Warrior" shirt with the wolf's head eating the chain, though most don't realize it's a wrestling shirt and just think it looks cool. I've gotten a couple comments on the two Undertaker shirts I wear as well, and once on the Bray Wyatt one. Shirt I get the most comments on though is the Bayley "I'm a Hugger" shirt though. I've had quite a few people come up and ask for hugs when I've worn it to big events and stuff.

I have a yellow Macho Man riding the Kool Aid Man with "Oh Yeah" on the bottom. I get compliments all the time. I also have a red shirt with Gorilla Monsoon pointing and saying "Will You Stop".
Awesome fucking shirts. |

I have not wore a wrestling shirt since I was a youngster, but I used to have an nWo black & white, an nWo Wolfpac, and a SCSA t-shirt (basic Austin 3:16 as I recall). I don't think wearing a wrestling related shirt in this era, at my age, and most importantly the area that I reside in would go over that well. I don't like, hardcore care what other people think, but I'm also just not into wrestling like I was when I was a kid. Not to mention the fact that it just wouldn't be my style to hit the bar with a Best In The World CM Punk shirt.
However, I will say that I would definitely wear a few WWE shirts from the past few years, but ones that don't appear to be wrestling related. First that comes to mind is Randy Orton. He had some really bad ass shirts, basically just graphic design T's that had nothing to do with wrestling, just really bad ass designs on them. Sheamus had a few I would wear, Celtic Cross designs and what not. A few more I'm forgetting, but you get the gist of what I'm trying to say. EDIT: Just remembered, as a kid I also had the regular DX shirt ... nWo, Wolfpac, Stone Cold 3:16, and DX. Yea, that's all of them that I owned. |

I have 3 in rotation. I wear my team hell no shirt, usually don't get anything said to me, my hot rod shirt, which gets mixed reactions. Older people ask if I'm into cars, and fans usually say "fuck yea hot rod " and my miz "awesome" T shirt. That one gets the most comments. People really either hate him or love him, but usually gets a conversation going.

I have 2 Savage shirts that I wear. Oddly enough, I see a ton of Bolieve shirts in various places, but I'm not sure if it's ironic hipsters or people who are legit unto Bo.

I only have an 'nWo 4 Life' t-shirt that I bought at a WCW house show in 2000. I still wear it now and then, but nobody says anything or gives a shit.

I do. No shame in my wardrobe game. A guy at local library once complimented me on my old-school The Rock "Get Ready..." shirt and had people at my church comment about my Ssbu shirt, and my pastor seemed to enjoy my Miz "Haters ♥ Me/'Cause I'm AWESOME! shirt, and think he once asked about my Ryder shirt too (with the fist pumping Statue of Liberty holding the Internet Championship.

Actually, yeah, kinda...about 45 minutes SSW approximately. My mother and her mom were both from there and lived there fir the first bit of my mother's life. Dunno for sure when they moved to Lansing, though.
Kinda OT but feel real glad that neither of them have to be around to know about what is going on there...I'm sure they'd both be irate. |

Wore this yesterday and an old guy who I'd never was a wrestling fan absolutely stopped dead in his tracks and pointed at me. I went over to him and he asked where I got the shirt. I might forego wearing my Austin 3:16 shirt @ Mania for this one. It's my first modern era shirt that got any type of reaction. |

I had a fondness for Orton's earlier (legacy) shirts. I have a Bray Wyatt shirt I'm surprised how many people recognize it.

I've really only ever seen the old Wal-Mart knockoffs out in public.... only WWE shirt I have is my Bo Dallas "NXT" Bo-lieve shirt that I found at a second hand store... I also have an Impact Wrestling shirt I bought from the house show I went to years ago and have no problems wearing them in public, no one has ever stopped me or nodded in acknowledgement ever....

The majority of wrestling shirts I have are ones I picked out specifically because I wouldn't be averse to wearing them in public, like the 2009 CM Punk shirt which looks like a ripoff of a Ramones T-shirt.

I have worn a few wrestling t-shirts over time. The Daniel Bryan "YES!" t-shirt got a lot of attention from folks. I have definitely worn the white CM Punk "Best in the World" t-shirt which I donated (bad call). I'm currently adorning a Brock Lesnar t-shirt which will remain tucked inside my hoodie since it reminds me of the horrible Ed Hardy branded t-shirts.

I still have my yellow "GTS"/"BitW" lightning bolt Punk graphic tee. If anyone ever shoots you a dirty look re: your Punk shirt again G.D., may I suggest you look back in their direction and shout at them, "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" as loudly as possible.
