How the heck do you ever get enough cash in the real mode game to buy the most expensive theater and Golf course? Is it because I chose to save all three that I get stiffed with not having enough cash on one character?

Srsbsnss GTA
I think this is actually pretty cool that someone does stuff like this. Maybe down the line they can make RP servers or something like that. Sure they will still be trolled, but it could be awesome to have open world turf wars that happen in real time, anytime. |

A GTA MMO is the only MMO I'd actually play. Unless a Street Fighter MMO with custom characters happened.
They may as well have GTA go MMO if they insist on things like utility bills and mental states etc. |

Well I would call GTA Online an MMO of a sort anyway.
No idea how a SF MMO would work. |

I'd say it's MMO lite. They picked and chose certain MMO aspects and put them in GTA Online. Some of them aren't very good aspects, in my opinion but they're there.
A SF MMO could work by having you create a character, moveset, style and select a country of origin. You'd start in that country, exploring and fighting others from the nearby area to earn money. You can eventually travel overseas, join Shadaloo, S.I.N, Gills cult, Mad Gear, Hugo and Poisons HWA or work for Chun-Li and interpol, Guile and the armed forces, Dans Dojo or other character based groups or go it alone. Depending who you affiliate with, you'll get different missions and so on. |

That SF MMO would be difficult to balance. And what would be the distinction between moveset and style? That's curious.
I think GTAO is MMO enough without violating what GTA is. I'm happy with what they came up with. Destiny and The Division appears to be similar 'MMO-Lite' titles that will enjoy (well maybe not Division, I only have so much time to give). |

Style would be grappler, all rounder, charge etc. That would then open a different set of moves to select and customise. I often think balance in games can be reached if every attribute was paired up with the opposite attribute. If you increase strength, you sacrifice speed, for example. Like a sliding scale with Strength at one end and speed at the other.
That way, you don't get powerhouses moving at light speed. Some of the MMO aspects in GTA aren't bad but seem like odd choices. The utility bill being an example. I don't mind that it's there but it's a very strange thing to add. |

It's a slight financial balance (like the car maintenance) that also emulates the real world. I think it's too cheap, imo.
You understand charge characters aren't really a 'style' per se. A charge character can be a grappler. Decapre is a mix-up/rush down chick who is a charge character (amazingly enough). King in SFxT is a grappler with zoning tendencies. But I do see what you're getting at. It would be interesting to see in a new IP. |

It's not an issue for me, as I said. I think it increases slightly based on the quality of your apartment. Shame we can't customise our apartments. I'm not meaning in a Sims way. Even if I could just change the colour of my couch, I'd be happy.
I do look at fighting games as simply as possible. I guess as a reaction to the indepth approach the community takes. Tiers, frame data etc. I just lumber along the screen and try to beat people up. Thats as complex as I get. |

They missed a golden opportunity with the monster truck. It's non-customisable but imagine if you could customise it. Changing the flags on the back to another national flag or even your crews logo would be great. I know it's a 4th of July thing which is why you can't change it.

I don't care for tier lists and I have a modest interest in frame data. I do care deeply about the metagame and move properties.

I avoid tiers because if I see my chosen character is inferior to a character I later fight online, I'll go into the fight with a negative expectation of the outcome.
Even the meta game is too technical for me. I do try to predict my opponents move. What is the metagame anyway? |

You know how basketball is basically about taking the ball to the other team's hoop and scoring? Things like your offensive and defensive approach, choosing who to double team and what risks you endure leaving a guy open, who to bench, what fouls you'll let happen - these constitute the metagame. Games within the game.
SF is about depleting the other guy's health. With Gief, seeing how you can exploit his powerful command throws is a game within that premise. A metagame. |

Not an issue of good or bad, just applying elements of the game. You've already been apt to the metagame, at least for grapplers.

I see. I hear Hugo is supposed to suck in USFIV and that Akuma can absorb two hits from Zangiefs Banishing Fist/Green Hand with his standard focus attack. So August will be fun for me when Ultra arrives.[/sarcasm]
Still, by regular standards, 4 or 5 characters I'll likely regularly select is spoiling me. |

That's just Vanilla Akuma, he can't do that in Ultra.
Hugo's issues was just Week 1 bitching from bitches. He's very strong and has great priorities and range on his normals. He can lock down people well. |

Nothing makes people rage like being locked down by a grappler. The number of rage quits and negative feedback I've had to deal with when I'm in control is insane.
As long as he has a fair shot in a fight, I'm good. |

I get accused of being overly aggressive. Playing as a brute strength character. In a fighting game.
I'm house sitting this week while the person who owns the place is out of town. No GTA until Friday night when I get back to my own place. After 5 days without GTA, would anyone be available for a big TPWW online session in GTA? Nothing to do right now but watch endless reruns of Friends on Comedy Central. |

There is a new glitch going around. I've not experienced it myself but a friend has shown me. A random car and prostitue can sometimes appear in your garage. Sometimes she's dead on the floor, having fallen from above and, other times, she's still dead but in the car.
If you sell the car with the dead prostitute in it, you get "millions". No idea on exact amounts, yet. You can't save the car in your garage. |

I've no idea why he gives you millions, it's a glitch. That necrophilia story sounds messed up enough for GTA so lets run with that.
