I think they need to focus on online play. Have the ability to set up eFeds and have Titles and the like. Have the option to run Sims and record them straight to YouTube. Couple that with an expanded create a story line, CAWs, more options in matches, and whatever they can cram. And you have a winner.

The 2k games who are drowning people who bought Evolve in DLC, turning off servers and wiping careers in NBA while they have their horrible VC system and the ones who removed match types in WWE 2k15 that are actually in the game code.

I agree, it's not THQ. It's worse. Not sure what happened to them at the generation change, but my god have they made shitty decisions.

ECW involvement could be cool I guess. I mean in real life I think people need to move on and find all of the "reunion" shows they do at this point to be laughable. But having a contingent of ECW characters to play as? Sure, whatever. As long as they have the whole main roster and most of the important NXT people I don't really care what legends go in.

As a huge WCW mark it'd be somewhat of a kick in the balls if they include a sizable ECW presence in the game when they've completely half-assed it anytime they decided to include WCW legends.

it would be really great if it started in WCW. Hopefully they could get Pillman and the Dangerous Alliance in there.

I've always wanted a proper WCW story in the game one of these years. And now that they have a working relationship with Sting, they could include pretty much all of the big names they'd need to make a feasible WCW roster to go along with the mode (Sting, Flair, nWo, Goldberg, DDP, Luger, Savage, Piper, Bret, etc.)

Toss in a few WCW midcarders that still work for the company like Malenko, Finlay, and Kidman and you've got yourself a fun little bit of nostaligia.

Such a mode would probably be based on the major points of the nWo angle. And they'd end it with a cutscene of the Fingerpoke of Doom because we can't have anything WCW-related ever without being reminded that WWF won the war.

The best was ECW One Night Stand 2005, although I have heard, surprisingly, great things about the Hardcore Justice or whatever that PPV was that TNA did a few years back.
