Think it was even a big selling point online for the PS4 with Sony being aggressive getting Xbox 360 owners to switch to them this gen. Get to play classic PS3 games and PS brand games without needing to buy those older consoles.

But the games Sony rereleased were often straight ports with maybe an aspect adjustment. Basically how it should be done (though X1 is doing that more often now with the growing emulation list). What's scary is hearing a game you like being remastered. I wonder if Darksider fans got off easy.

THQ Nordic are doing that in house I believe, so it should be alright.

The main problem is that publishers just sell the development work of the remasters to the lowest bidder and we get all this shot.

More remakes/reboots and less remasters. Since hell froze over and we're getting an ff7 remake maybe we can get a chrono trigger remake too. Hell blaster master is getting a reboot. So much better than remasters most of the time.

Also, I would prefer a new chrono game over a remake. Get the the original creators together again tho.

Btw Xbox added clubs to their live dashboard and it's a lot like the PS4 one. Anybody do a TPdub club yet? It's the logical step from our old TPWW Invite days.

Playing Watch Dogs 2 (like a gajillion times a better game than the garbage-tier original) and there's a mission in a heavy metal bar. Weirdly, while doing the mission, both Hardcore Holly's and the Hardy Boyz theme played. Huh.

Capcom stated the Xbox One version of Resident Evil 7 will support cross-saving with the PC version although only guaranteed for the Windows Store version.

Seems to be a lot of smoke over Marvel V Capcom 4 being announced at either PSX or the Capcom Cup this month with a 2018 release date. A lot of pros are teasing it on Twitter, so this could be an elaborate ruse.

Yeah I can attest to running Final Fantasy 15 in Lite mode on the PS4 Pro. Runs much much smoother. That 4k sure is pretty though. I tend to run it in 4k mode and switch to lite mode when I know more action is coming.

FYI, if you're planning on getting Final Fantasy 15, Kingsglaive is definitely worth a watch. WAAAAAAYYY better than square's previous efforts, and a really good introduction to FF15's world and the conflict surrounding it.

Not sure if its going to be Japan exclusive or not but Tekken 7 is going to have New Japan Pro Wrestling costumes included as part of a collaboration between Namco and NJPW.
