Question for the trained wrestlers of tpww about the superkick

So I was just wondering about what went into Shawn Michaels' sweet chin music.

Because obviously it started out as a transition move, and he didn't do it very well. I mean not terrible, but it's not as crisp and well done as it would prove to be.

What work does Shawn put into the move to get it to where it was? Because by the end of his career it looked fantastic.

I'm just curious as to what goes into refining your moves as a wrestler. Shawn at the point where he was busting out the savant kick as a transition move had been wrestling a long time already, but realistically it took him til 1995 to perfect that superkick. Is it a timing and form? Or is it just understanding the psychology of how to use it?
