So I'm assuming you didn't like Ace Ventura?

I even tried treating Kung Pow like an ugly chick. I stopped it half way through to go get more booze and it still didn't help. It's the only movie that I've ever rented and didn't finish watching the whole thing. |

Kung Pow is hilarious.
Not a big fan of Ace Ventura, though. It's been years since I've seen it though, so maybe it'll appeal to me more now than it did when I first saw it. |

Has anyone mentioned Crossroads yet? (The Britney version, not Ralph Machio.)

Yeah wasn't a big fan of Kung Pow either but it's hardly the worst movie I've ever seen.

Kung Pow was made for Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch was another terrible one. |

Kung Pow was something that you can only really enjoy if you're looking for something that's utterly stupid. It's one of those "you get it or you don't" sorts of movies. It's not about intellectual level (In terms of you have to be "smart" to get it) or even about good/bad, just about a specific sort of mindset you go into it with.
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Highlander 2: The Cashening. Or if they did, I missed it. |

Omega Doom was pretty bad too. I only even saw it because it was bundled with Blind Fury, which is not a great movie, but entertaining.

This week's Entertainment Weekly has a list of the 25 worst sequels of all-time (since we're on the subject of awful movies):

*edit: I think the reason I loved weekend at bernie's 2, is because it was absolutely the worst concept for a film. A corpse... STILL a corpse... and they had to be careful because he just kept getting more and more ripe, and it was so fucking disgusting... and just the absurdity of the implausible situation was fucking hilarious. |

Kudos to the person who mentioned Deep Blue Sea. I fucking hated that movie. The only reason why I watched it was that I received the DVD free with my DVD Player purchase. Time I will never get back.
Another movie I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned was Envy. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and Christopher Walken being in a movie this terrible makes it even worse. Well Ben Stiller I can see.... Not sure if it is more that my expectations were high or what, but you just can't Vapoorize the crap that is this film. |

And Godfather III? Please. It has flaws yeah but there is a plethora of sequels more deserving to be on this list than that. And isn't The Phantom Menace a prequel, anyway, same with Dumb & Dumberer. |

I think their criteria was:
a) It was made after another movie, using its same characters b) Regardless of how good the previous movie was, how bad was this one |

How MIB 2 did'nt make that list I'll never know. And Star Trek 5 was greatness. Spock, McCoy and Kirk singing around the campfire! Classic |

Remote is pretty bad. A ripoff of Home Alone.
Anything made by Full Moon Productions or Moonbeam is pretty horrible (though usually hilarious). |

i just saw a few minutes of "Cat Woman" on HBO. worst movie ever? maybe. maybe not. but i gotta say this. there comes a point when the people responsible for a movie need to start facing jail time. and "Cat Woman" definitely crossed the line. |

Some of you are just being overcritical bastards. The Wedding Singer and City of Angels are hardly the worst movies ever. In fact, they are quite fantastic.

I'm by no means a movie "buff" at all, like hardly ever watch any movies. But of the few I've seen, I'd have to agree with Freddy Got Fingered. Maybe it's just because I can't stand Tom Green at all, I don't know.

Exorcist: The Beginning. Had to suffer watching that disgrace of a movie starring Isabella Scorupio (Goldeneye bond girl), and Reny Harlin.
