Sure I toured the forums before I sent that message, but with no real ties and more evidence of the same old shit; I figured I might as well tell the fucker what time it is.

Well all this started because I posted in favor of the new tag system, and made clear the fallacy of interpreting MvC3 mechanics in the context of MvC2's engine. Didn't insult anybody. Didn't flame bait. I didn't even reply to anybody in particular, it was just my addition to the general discussion. The 'asshole' replies by giving me an infraction; ah, but he knew I didn't break any rules with that post.

So he goes into my back catalog of posts and finds something infraction worthy from 6 months prior. And that issued a series of posts and PMs that led to the above exchange, and the end of my time at SRK.

Drakul, a 6plyr mode would rule for MvC3. But there are people out there who are not content with mere disagreement, they have to be divisive and petty. That's SRK.

Don't think there's any big shows or conventions... Probably a reveal a month til Spring. Or maybe we'll know them all by Xmas.

Imagine my disappointment when I seen how prevalent Plinking and Option Selects were in high level SSF4 play. Here I am busting my ass trying to get timing down and some fucker found out how to artificially open the link window. Here I am trying to read my opponent to break a throw and some jackass found a way to force the game to make the right decisions for him.

It blows my mind that this is praised while calling it out either in a philosophical or ethical context is 'scrubby'. Thank god this culture is on the endangered species list.

No, you're thinking dip switches.

Option Select is when you input a normal move like a low kick and frame-shift to a throw command. If your opponent tries to throw you, you will break it. If he doesn't, you'll kick him. You're forcing the computer to leave you in the best position, with none of the trouble of reading your opponent. And that's just one application, they all boil down to making you as safe as possible.
