More Avengers maybe? Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye. I could see one or more of them getting in because of the upcoming movie.
How about some more X-Men? There seems to be a good X-Men presence already though. I'd like to see a Spidey villain. Daredevil? Silver Surfer? |

It's a toss up from here on out. I'm just foaming at the mouth at those Spidey suits. And holy shit at the "Big Time" addition. Nice and quick.
Gonna rock Iron Spidey if I use Iron Man again, otherwise it's black suit all day. |

I like symbiote Spidey, but classic Spidey is and always will be where it's at

Do the other suits have any perks? Or it's basically just skins?

Hm well on the bright side they're real alternate outfits and not just random inverted colors.

Betting X-Force Deadpool and Bucky Cap will be in. Along with Evil Ryu and Virgil/Nero Coat Dante on the Capcom side.

Those would be easy edits, essentially costless. Marvel would totally allow Bucky and X-Force Deadpool based on Spidey's Big Day promotion.

There's a yellow X-Men Deadpool version. X-Force Wolverine is in. I'll get a clip of yellow DP in a few.

Impressed by some of the character choices. I am surprised to see MODOk..I don't think I have seen MODOK in a comic book for quite some time.

MODOK's the new Arakune. Mags is nerfed and I like him more now.
And I think this is one of the most satisfying rosters in any fighter. |

One of the few notoriously hard NES/SNES classics I never beat. Not because I tried and failed mind you, just never gave it a proper go. Might have to do it soon, as my long list of old school accomplishments seems incomplete without it.

lol yeah, I've read about that. Judging by how hard the game is to beat, that might be the biggest fuck you in gaming.

I'd have been willing to go through the entire game again if it was some kind of variation on the first playthrough but it's completely identicle.
If the levels where reversed or something, I'd have gone through it again. |

Simple Mode:
Sounds like Smash Bros style controls to me. |

Also sounds like how they added the Tastunoko vs Capcom style into the game since it used the simple style as an option. Only difference is TvC didn't restrict the movelist unlike what MvC 3 is going to do.
Specials were A+B or a shake of the wiimote for a normal special and then A+B/wiimote shake with a directional pad push for other specials. |

You didn't have all of your normals with TvC's Wiimote controls. It was frustrating to play that way.

I completely forgot about the Wiimote-only controls since I was thinking of the Wiimote with Nunchuck movelist almost being the same as the Gamecube or Classic Controller movelist.
TvC ends up having 3 styles with the very simple Wiimote only, simple Wiimote with nunchuck, and the traditional controller (GC or Classic Controller). |

I played TvC the one time using a GC controller. Simplification of fighting games always tends to lose something in the process, it seems.

GCN controller was perfect. Had access to whatever normals and combos I needed. Even the thumbstick worked well.
Still, Wii's pro classic controller is the best choice (for pad players). |

That should keep certain members of our merry band in-session with less excuse to cut themselves out. Bigger session means better experience.

Does anyone else think a 3 on 3 mode would be fun online? It could play like team battle in SSFIV. Get a lobby of 6 people, 3 on each team but rather than waiting for a whole fight before you play, you all play togethor.
Tagging each other in and out, assisting each other etc. I think it would be fun if a little hectic. |
