Fun fact: you can apparently get a wanted rating if Simeon wants your personal vehicle, even though it'll explicitly tell you he doesn't want personal vehicles. Quote:

I think they will try to do everything they said. Of all the developers, R* and Nintendo are the two who let me down the least. I'm not saying they're infallible but I doubt they'd not do what they'd say.
I'm sure we'll need a yard for the dog. Otherwise it'd be indoors and I don't think that'd work. |

I did the Violent Duct mission solo and only got $3000. You'd think you'd get more for going solo.
Also, I parked my car behind a brick wall a while away from the enemies. Not only did they shoot straight through the brick wall and hit my car, they hit the wheel furthest away. Physically impossible shot. Guessing there's some kind of randomness to what hits and where? |

Yeah, Violent Duct is fixed to $3000 now instead of $9000.
Tennis is terrible. It's ok in single player but it's bad online. Or at least the connection was bad between where I am and where Drakul is. Maybe it's better with better connections but I doubt it. |

Was it the problem where the ball randomly fucking curves across the whole court? Had that happen. Mostly to the person I was playing with, but I thought they were full of shit until it happened to me. They hit it, it looks normal, and then curves suddenly to the side.

If the garage was randomly placed, people would have to come to you to steal the car, and it would add a lot of variety to the mission. |

It wouldn't be bad if you could store the car until the heat goes down but Antonio Cesaro doesn't want the car if it's personalized in any way.

This Bad Sport status that R* gives people is a joke. Someone had a bounty on their head so I went after them. They wouldn't leave their car so I blew it up, not knowing it was their personalized car, and got a warning that doing that was wrong of me.
The Bad Sport status hasn't stopped hackers from moving in, already. Last night, I went to get a guy with a bounty on his head only to find he wasn't there. My blip was directly over his blip and he was nowhere to be seen. This was outside the city. He also was able to move very fast from place to place but he wasn't in an aircraft or vehicle. He was still able to kill me in one hit. My theory is he glitched through the ground, like they did in GTA IV. Something similar happened just now with a bounty who was not visable but blew me up instantly. No rocket fire or grenade landing by me. |

Everyone keeps slamming into me and killing each other. I've probably been put in with the bad players because I dared to quit one shooting range minigame days ago (I actually thought it was endless and you just left when you got bored) and blew up someones personal car because I had the gall to go after a bounty and didn't know it was theirs. Why give us explosives if blowing up NPC cars gets us police attention and blowing up players cars gets us a warning about playing nice?

Bad sport deals with bad behavior within the boundaries of official gameplay, not engine hacking shit that's a problem for R* and Microsoft to handle. These are two different things. Think of the difference between a team killer and a guy using a glitch to win. Grievers and hackers are two different animals, and a hacker should not get a Bad Sport rating because he's not playing the game he's breaking it.
Blowing up people's cars was quickly identified by R* to be a major costly bummer for people who are invested in their car, so short of banning you, you get a bad rating for doing this a lot. The owner still suffers payments. Remember there is an economy R* has to be mindful of, and a game like GTA Online could easily sway in a trouble maker's favor if not for provisions against them. I agree with getting a bad rating for trashing somebody's car. |

Because NPCs are not players who purchased the game. R* are essentially policing the game. Looking at your complaints, I know for a fact you would absolutely hate the kind of free for all that would exist had R* not regulated certain activities. Careful what you wish for.

The trouble should only start if someone constantly wrecks the cars of the same player over and over again in a short time peroid. Like if I blew up your personal car 4 times in an hour, then I'd say that's hassling you. At the very least, the "don't destroy other players cars" thing should be dropped if the player in question has a bounty. Then it's justified. If he's not got a bounty on his head, fine, no destroying his personal car. I know but this guy was, physically, not there. I saw his blip but he was not there in the gameworld. Doesn't Lester make your blip vanish and not your character? Quote:
So, I didn't know it was a personal car, I didn't know there was anything wrong with blowing up a personal car and the game was telling me "Kill this guy and get money", which I did. I then get told off and potentially punished for it. |

I can't see my rating but I can see everyone elses on my friends list but pausing the game online, going to friends, I think, and then just viewing each person. Everyone is "clean". I don't know what I am.
I'm assuming I'm in with the bad guys because I got a warning and then I noticed everyone was killing everyone and slamming into each other. |

I'm with Drakul on the personal vehicle issue. If someone is trying to kill you, you should be allowed to defend yourself by any means necessary. I got a bad sport rating when I had a bounty on me, and this guy came after me. We had a war across the countryside shooting at each other in a grand chase. Are cars were ragged by the end and cops were shooting at both of us. Finally I got the last shot in that blew up his car. It was mad fun, but I got a bad sport rating. Never mind that he was shooting my car right back.
Giving a bad sport rating for blowing up personal cars isn't a bad idea, it just needs to be tweaked so that it doesn't interfere with regular gameplay. |

Ugh, didn't know all that. I might have a bad sport rating now. I have been hunting bounties using sticky bombs. I think it's just a badass way of murdering someone's face. I've set up on highways and waited for the bounty to come to me and then blown the stickies. I've done drive-by stickies on them. I've dropped them on the road as I'm driving and blown people up who are chasing me.
I do this to non-bounty players too if they're after me. If I'm defending myself against some guy shooting the piss out of my car or trying to kill me, or if I'm after a bounty, I shouldn't get a bad rating IMO. |

Yeah, I think you need quite a few to get put in the bad players room.
Drakul, there are still a ton of normal player rooms full of people killing each other. I'd say it was just a coincidence that you found one right after the bad sport message. |

If they have to have the "no blowing up personal cars" thing, all they have to do to make it fair is indicate that it's a personal car. For example, if a player is driving a personal car, turn their blip from O to a square on the map/radar. If that player has a bounty on their head, their car is fair game.

Have had some awesome moments. Collecting bounties is by far my favorite thing to do in this game.
Went on a super long chase following these 2 bounties around the map. One was in a helicopter and appeared to be chasing the other. So I was on the ground in my car (which I've upgraded and is awesome.. turbos are AMAZING), chasing this guy.. ended up really trashing my vehicle going offroad and shit just trying to keep up.. so I stopped at a mod shop, repaired my car, and came out to some guy trying to kill me. Got away with a well timed sticky bomb and went after the ground guy again. Got to a corner of freeway where I could see down into the bay where the guy was. The helicopter guy had apparently picked up a friend who was now flying, with the bounty in the passenger. He arrived above the ground bounty, who I didn't have a shot on. So I scope in, shoot the pilot out of the helicopter, sending it plummeting into the bay. 1 bounty down. I take aim at the second guy, who now has another player on the ground shooting at him. BOOM, just as the other guy charges him, taking his health down. My shot is the killshot though. 2nd bounty down. I love this game. |

Drak your issue seems to fall back on what you're allowed to do during a bounty without penalty.

New apartment, I wanted a 6-car garage. I was apprehensive getting a place where most players will be (middle of the city), but I wanted a bigger garage so there.
