Just pick whoever you like right now. No list is ever really final.

I started digging Ben Affleck a few years ago. His films are really good these days, his Gigli days are over. Well, the DC films suck ass usually, but he was still a good Batman in my opinion.

I particularly enjoyed Ben Affleck in The Town, Gone Girl and Live By Night. I wasn't keen on Argo but he was good in it. He may yet get over his box office poison reputation. I mean it has been a long time since that string of light comedy failures.
I think his resurgence looks better when you consider Matt Damon has been treading water for years now with no sign of any really historic roles. He should have won a couple of oscars by now with his talent. Good Will Hunting could well be their lasting legacy. |

Wouldn't say I have any favorites and I'm not a big movie guy. If I had to pick a couple I'd have to go with Tim Roth and Tom Hardy.

Michael Fassbender is awesome.
Daniel Day Lewis' films are too artsy for me. Also, read he's an utter psycho when devoting to a role, like living in a cabin in the woods for months, hunting animals, refusiwng to shower. |

Daniel Day Lewis is apparently a fucking nightmare to work with. I have never heard any overly positive film production stories about him, just the negative related to his method approach to characters. I love him but he has made a couple of snoopers.

I just read the whole original post. Idris Elba is great as well. I was so pissed when they cast him as a Norse god, buthe nailed it.

I like Kirsten Dunst a lot but I think that I am biased due to my massive attraction to her incredible body figure.

Jeremy Davies is a phenomenal talent. Just watching Solaris here and he's so endearingly idiosyncratic that it's joyous to see how he can flip from quirky chatterbox to Manson-esque psycho-babble with all the ease of a legitimate world class schizoid. He has been typecast as a neurotic but he is awesome in everything I have seen. Ravenous would be a lot more of a guilty pleasure if he didn't lend it so much of his credibility.
He was also unquestionably my favourite character in both Lost and Justified. The man plays weird very very well. If they could get him in a film with Ben Foster and Meryl Streep directed by someone class like Joe Carnahan then it would be porn for me. |
