The Superstar Shakeup will be "trades" and not a draft... http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/wwe-raw...erstar-shakeup

Here's to hoping The Owl shows up to next week's Superstar Shakeup and trades the rights to #BROKEN for the right to Cody Rhodes' last name.

Hope SmackDown still has a hot crowd tomorrow especially if there are more debuts.
Usually the Brits fly back on Tuesday rather than staying the extra day but that was before SmackDown was important. |

I don't want to see the crowd reacting to the thing instead of the thing itself. It's kind of like a fuck you to the television audience. "Oh, you can't bee here? Too bad, you don't get to see the moment. But you *can* see our live crowd react to that moment for $9.99!" |

They may wait until they split them up and have Matt go full broken after that since they'll probably want Jeff near the top of the card again and Matt might get over enough to do the same on the other brand. Either way, it's a bummer for now, but there's enough broken in there to course correct later on. |

The travel packages included Smackdown this time when they haven't before, so they might.

The WWE Universe needs to be introduced to what that character is. I've heard the term broken, but I have no idea what that entails or why Matt is broken in the first place (is it because he's on drugs? Still upset about Lita? Damaged from bumps? Ran out of hair dye?). I don't think you can book assuming the majority of your audience watches the other junk wrestling promotions out there. Give them time to tell the story if it's a worthwhile gimmick.

Jeff can stay himself and probably be just fine as he'll stay over via doing crazy stuff in the ring and I'm pretty sure he's still gonna get loads of girls screaming in the crowd anytime he takes his shirt off. As fun as it would be for him to become Brother Nero-like, I can see why WWE would keep him the way most fans last remembered him. But I'd think/hope WWE realize that once they're solo, Matt needs to do something outside the box to stay interesting as a singles character. I don't think there'd be much argument that V1 was Matt's most entertaining run as a solo act in WWE. He got huge pops when he first showed up and attacked Edge but once that feud ended he was just...there for four years without doing too much interesting. Meanwhile his first ROH and of course the Broken TNA run were all great because he was allowed to just be over the top and ridiculous. |

Maybe the completion of the Expedition of Gold cured their brokenness but their are still remnants of it and they could be broken again.

They will just do their own broken storyline on WWE so everyone knows what is going on.

Maybe Goldberg's son can take over the broken gimmick after that bump he took.

Odds that Smackdown gets raided with next week's trade episode likely shot up more now that this week's RAW numbers got released.
Higher than last week but that pretty much is the end of favorable comparisons. Couldn't reach 4 million, down 320k compared to last year, down 1.6 million compared to 2015, and only 140k better than the previous best week so far this year. |

AJs gone to Raw, easy. I assume Charlotte and New Day to Smackdown and they're good moved. Kind of hope Sami moves too.

• Three minutes of constant Undertaker chants followed by five minutes of boos and general anti-Reigns chants was quite something.
I'm also going to assume that by saying that "non-traditional WWE fans" were in attendance that they meant "A lot of smarks are here tonight and the majority of them are British". • The "Delete" chant has got to be one of the most annoying chants in wrestling. It ranks up there with the "What?" chant, the "This is/We are awesome" chant, the "TEN!" chant during a referee's ten-count and the "Olé Olé Olé Olé" chant for Zayn. I was really just wanting the crowd to shut the fuck up. • The whole beach ball thing during the Cruiserweight match was funny but not funny. • We all knew it was going to happen but Teddy Long coming out was a nice "faux-swerve". I really hope Kurt Angle as Raw GM is a success and adding that with this "Superstar Shake-up" next week that Raw can really recover from the "Foley Term" which was just dire. I don't know if I should look forward to next week or fear it, as SmackDown and its roster is pretty great just the way it is and any changes has the chance of ruining all that, but on the other side of things, Raw really needs some help and Kurt Angle as GM is a great start. • This is my introduction to The Revival. From what I saw, they were "meh". • With what looks like a Charlotte/Jax thing going on and Emma debuting, I can only assume that she'll be chasing the title from Bayley. Either that or Sasha Banks turns on Bayley and chases the title or someone from SmackDown chases the title after they're drafted while we get Emma and Sasha trading wins with each other. I have a small feeling that Dana will be going to SmackDown. • I was expecting Angle to add a new "I" to his "Three I's" when he was talking to Zayn and that it would be "Irritating". Jinder Mahal though. What a guy. He really should have won at WrestleMania. • Strowman coming out when Lesnar was in the ring was a nice surprise. I really wasn't expecting him. Seeing them face to face and thinking about the two of them facing each other, really made me want to see some Strowman vs Lesnar. It really didn't help Strowman that they had him be a pussy yet again. • I was so happy that Cesaro & Sheamus won. Enzo & Cass have really passed their expiration date and Enzo is just straight up annoying now and he's really holding Cass back. I really wouldn't mind seeing them split up next week with Cass going to SmackDown to flourish and Enzo remaining on Raw to either be a heel manager or a heel in the Cruiserweight divsion. The division needs more faces and Enzo is great on the mic, I'll give him that, so maybe he could use that talent during a heel run to hide the fact that he's not all that great in the ring. • Jinder really deserves a good push. I thought maybe with what happened at WrestleMania that it was possible, but him losing to Zayn the next night just killed all that. • Triple H's Fabulous Fatties vs Seth Rollins and I'm not really phased by the return of Bálor and his Castlevania music if I'm honest. I'm just glad he didn't return doing that ridiculous demon thing. • Things look promising for Raw now. Hopefully I can say the same thing after Raw next week. |

Shut the fuck up you faggot. I hate that term BTW, but it's the only term that accurately describes you, and it has nothing to do with you or anyone else's sexuality or sexual preferences.

Just because Vince thinks that way doesn't mean ALL of the fans who attend live events/watching their show does. Especially with the influx of ways to absorb such outside knowledge. This is the same line of thinking that persists about "internet fans = basement dwelling, neckbeard, virgin, lifeless tape traders" when internet access is LITERALLY in everyone's pocket. It isn't the same atmosphere anymore. If someone doesn't know why the other people are chanting "DELETE", all they have to do is spend about two minutes whipping their phone/tablet out and Googling "hardy delete". If done right, people could get the gist of the #BROKEN stuff without having to relegate the two back where they were in about 1998 first; with Jeff getting over by taking his shirt off and jumping down from tall things and Matt just being there. Not everything needs a reset button for the dummies in the back. There wasn't a need to revisit Gallows being a slobbering mushbrain until the bell rang to re-introduce him with Anderson. They :gasp: acknowledged them as a pre-existing tag team!:gasp: From another promotion! :gasp: That isn't WWE!!! They documented that they had a relationship with AJ instead of pretending nobody knows about Bullet Club... another thing that exists outside of WWE. Really, this head-in-sand, contrarian viewpoint you present doesn't hold water. It likely has more to do with the lawsuit nonsense- avoiding anything overt for the time being (ironically similar to "The Adventures of Cody and The Missing Surname", where he has legal entanglements with WWE on where and how he can use his last name) We'll see if the elements that make up #BROKEN Matt takes a turn if that clears up sometime soon. "Fuck that owl". |
