I had never even heard of it until I walked by a display in Gamestop the other day, and it was right next to Skylanders which was doing the same thing but looked better doing it.

1) Some Pokemon related news as the Pokemon Bank was released today in North America (Europe and Australia got it yesterday), Nintendo is currently offering a free Celebi to everyone who uses the Bank by September 30th, and the Pokemon website was recently redesigned with several new features added.

I got Infinity for my son. It's like skylanders for a slightly younger target audience with the tox box mode from the last few toy story games added on top. It's good for small children/families, but that is about it.

So the Turtle beach XO Seven's aka the Official Xbox One TB headset is up for pre-order and starts shipping 3/14. Thats not the news though...the news is that, one would assume, since this headset ships with the Xbox One headset adapter in box, maybe said adapter will be available for retail purchase soon?

Agree to disagree then. The lag issues with that game made multiplayer terrible. I'm thoroughly enjoying Ghosts though.

1) As alvarado52 stated last night, Sledgehammer Games has officially been upgraded to a full developer for the Call of Duty series and is currently working on this year's game. According to the creator of Flappy Bird, the game will be removed from all app stores before the end of tomorrow.

While it wasn't stated, the official reason appears to be related to recent backlash with this time involving the amount of ad revenue generated by the game ($50,000 per day). The level of backlash has gotten to the point that dealing with the game is no longer worth the hassle for the creator.

LONDON — Convicted mass killer Anders Behring Breivik, the right-wing extremist who methodically hunted down and shot dozens of young people at a summer camp in Norway, has threatened to mount a hunger strike if his prison conditions don’t improve, including better video games.
Breivik, 35, sent a letter to media outlets saying he would starve himself to death if his demands weren’t met, the Associated Press reported Tuesday. Among those demands is access to a sofa and a bigger gym.
Agence France-Presse said that, in a letter it received last week, Breivik described the present conditions of his confinement as “torture.” He enclosed a list of 12 demands he had sent to prison authorities in November, including easier communication with the outside world and a PlayStation 3 to replace the current PlayStation 2, because it offers more suitable games.
“Other inmates have access to adult games while I only have the right to play less interesting kids’ games. One example is ‘Rayman Revolution,’ a game aimed at 3-year-olds,” Breivik complained to prison officials.
“You’ve put me in hell ... and I won’t manage to survive that long,” he added. “You are killing me.”

1) Nintendo states online multiplayer support for both the DS and Wii will be getting dropped by May 20th and includes online multiplayer for Wii Mode on the Wii U. Current internet services, apps, and shops for both platforms are not being affected by these changes.

Weekend News Edition:
Sega states this year's overall fiscal report is expected to reveal bigger losses than originally predicted. They are currently expecting a net loss of around $166 million and a 36% drop in overall revenue. Other fiscal areas are also expected to see huge drops.

Sega has slashed its fiscal year profit forecast by more than a third, mainly due to the performance of its Pachinko and Amusement Machine businesses.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Sega has cut its revenue forecast by 23 per cent, from ¥485 billion to ¥377 billion ($3.7 billion). Net income will be even more seriously affected, dropping 36 per cent from ¥47 billion to ¥30 billion ($294 million).

However, Sega's operating income will suffer the greatest loss of all: a 49 per cent drop from ¥73 billion to ¥37 billion ($364 million).
