Warrior was charismatic on a whole other level to Bats. Dave was a better performer, but every time Warrior showed up, I marked as a kid. Everything about him was awesome, from his look, his entrance, crazy promos, his symbol and the energy he brought to anything he was involved with.

Dave was better in the ring, but Warrior's light shone brighter. Warrior was an idiot outside the ring and it's laughable what they have done with his award, but Warrior/Hogan genuinely felt like the biggest match of all time. Dave never got near that level.

Dave was a star, Warrior was an icon.

Batista wasn't the drizzling shits in the ring and could've stuck around as long as he wanted in an upper card role. Plus he was able to use his platform to successfully carve a niche for himself outside of the business, which not a lot of guys have had the ability to do.

Warrior was an iconic character but after his entrance he was far more easily exposed as a performer.

Most of the stuff Warrior did was so bad that it's more entertaining than anything batista ever did.

Also, I can't recall anything batista ever did to match the spectacle and grandiose of Wrestlemania 6.

Warrior had the same problem as Lesnar's first WWE run where he rose too quickly and burned out just as quick as a big star. Batista doesn't have a moment similar in status as Hogan-Warrior Mania 6 but he also doesn't have anything near to Warrior's terrible run in WCW.

Warrior really didn't though. He debuted in early 88, won the IC in 89 and World Title in 90. That's two years of building him up. Warriors problem was the WWF had zero top heels for Warrior to work with.
