I honestly think a tag team with Oney Lorcan and Lars Sullivan would be amazing.

Think about every other "big, meaty monster" that has come into WWE even just stopping at Vladamir Kozlov. We think of guys like the inital repackage of Ryback, but fail to notice most end up like Jackson Andrews. Hell, even just since the revamp of NXT. Bronson, Big E Langston, and Alexandr Rusev come to mind (hesitant to count Baron Corbin, but he got that kind of push). Now think about how the company has pumped them up in a very short run, just to cut their nuts off shortly after the new car smell has faded. Bronson's gone, Big E got a hotshot to IC status then dropped, and we all know the holding pattern of nothing Rusev has been in- he has done more for his career on twitter than anything they've done for him in booking. Someone like Braun Strowman or Kevin Owens has been the exception and not the rule. Hell, Braun was/is getting huge reactions, and instead of "holy shit, we got something here", it is still full steam ahead on Roman being THE GUY, and after Strowman eventually gets seated by Brock, what is left for him? Some program with Samoa Joe seems likely, and some eventual battle of giants match with Big (C)ass, but then what? AoP and Heavy Machinery seem like perfect specimens to spice up either tag team scene which is devoid of nearly any talent in spite of having multiple teams. How quickly will they collide on the main roster losing that money build? Or be split up for no reason? Or take a backseat to the nothing that is going on with RAW or New Day/Usos chapter 311-b over on the blue show? We're supposed to be suckered in by size and throw money at the company by osmosis, and when it isn't an immediate reaction to them like Andre used to get, they start jobbing too much to be percieved as threats, or becoming comedy acts, or playing second fiddle to love interests and such. TL;DR unless the stars align just right, I see Lars becoming yet another "what happened to that one guy?" cautionary story of inept booking after his jump to the main roster, even if he runs roughshod over NXT and gets an Asuka-like championship reign. |

I really like No Way Jose. He will be main roster and pushed soon, just you wait. Lars Sullivan could probably just debut on SmackDown and start killing people. Put The Authors of Pain on RAW to destroy The Hardys and teams like Heath Slater & Rhyno -- if they are still a team, that is.

I too like N.W. Jose. He's super fun, and he has a nice serious switch too. Plus, that theme song is infectious.

N.W. Jose is going to be his gimmick when his character graduates law school and needs to turn heel.

But seriously, I just enjoy the dude's presence. He's got some good size and enough skill that he's a fun opening act that can "get serious" when a big heel does something nasty, but it doesn't intrude on the main babyfaces' roles. He'd be a decent Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winner, or whatever they had planned for Mojo Rawley that just didn't work. He might need a famous friend though.
Actually, he'd be a fine choice to dethrone Miz for at least a little bit. There are plenty of inoffensive things you can do with this guy on the main roster. |

I love Lars Sullivan because I love Big Sweaty Men
Ok, seriously though, there is SUCH an upside to a guy like Lars. He reminds me of the "final Boss" in an SNES fighter game (which makes him the perfect heel). I have always been a component of simple characters in wrestling. Heavy Machinery are big guys who like to eat and lift weights, Street Profits are guys who love to party and have a good time, Lars is an angry man who wants to hurt people. Not everybody needs an elaborate back story or complex gimmick, sometimes less is more effective. |

Ok so I finally discovered Lars Sullivan and he's fucking amazing. Screw these 200 pound crossfit workrate honks. Give me wrestlers like Sullivan any day.
I've been saying this for YEARS. The WWE needs more larger than life characters. Don't believe me? Who's the most over guy on the roster? BRAUNNNNNN!. I guarantee when it's all said and done that Lars will be the most over guy on NXT. That's what attracts the casual fan. Not these twirps like Balor and Nakamura. I'm going to start watching NXT when I hear Lars is on. If he gets called up to the roster I might start watching full time again. Last edited by Bad News Gertner; 11-17-2017 at 06:03 AM. |

WWE fucked up big time with THE RYBACK. Biggest mistake they've made in the last decade. Dude was over as hell but they had to go with little bastards like Punk and Bryan. What are those tards doing now?

I've heard really good things about Oney Lorcan, but I have not seen much of him. General opinion: Would he better suited on 205 Live with Hideo Itami in an attempt to make it mean something, or is he "too good" for that?

Who actually does draw these days? I'm not saying that to excuse a foul product or anything, but I think that's the same sort of prediction you could make for just about anybody else on the roster too. He's got a better chance than most.

Lorcan is in a team with Danny Burch at the minute that could be useful in either of the Tag divisions, other than that he’s 205 all the way.

I did see that. I think Burch is also a cruiserweight. If Kendrick and Gallagher weren't already doing the Special Relationship heel wrestling tag team, they'd be good for that role. Ugh, 205 Live though.
Hey, The Usos and New Day could both use people to feud with. They'd be good for that. |

I don't like him. He's like Braun light with a stupider name and looks kinda like Festus.
AOP and Killian Dain are way more impressive hosses. |

Lars looks like a heel out of the 60s or 70s. Great look. Enjoyed his match last night.

Once Braun starts to peeter out (hopefully in a very long time), that;s when Lars gets his shot. Braun v. Lars

Lars is better than Braun. Put him in the same position and book him right and it's not even all that close.

He apparently has "acromegaly," which is the same disorder that Andre the Giant and Great Khali had, which leads to enlarged hands and feet, a deep voice, certain look, etc... Love him

Meltzer said he was planned to face Almas for the title at TakeOver: New Orleans but had a knee and pituitary gland issue so had to miss the tapings, so Aleister Black was put in the match instead.
