Itami still wants a piece, and Lorcan back out to oblige him.

"Never been beaten" a bit revisionist on WWE's part, but nonetheless, 450+ days with the NXT Women's Championship is damn impressive.
If she could hold on to it until NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, or maybe even through the NXT ep. the Wednesday before (forgot the exact math), Asuka will have beaten Rockin' Robin's WWF Women's Championship reign, which lasted 502 days. |

Wolf/Dayne v. Itami/Ohno next week... nice. That in addition to Strong v. Roode for the NXT Championship... shaping up to be a pretty interesting #NXT400.

Spectacular LWS match. No spoilers, you must watch for yourself if you haven't seen it just now. 4.75/5*.

Was that a personal dig or just because the state of NXT. It used to get a lot more attention before the big names left. I can appreciate Bobby Roode, but aside from his cheesy entrance music, there's nothing there that is interesting.

Go and watch Asuka's v. Cross from last night then if you truly feel there's "nothing there that is interesting.", then. If it doesn't have you on the edge of your seat, there's something wrong with the viewer, not the product.

Meh, it was alright. Nothing "edge of seat" watching though. I'm a fan on Asuka.
However, I was speaking about Roode - their champion, boring me outside of his cheesy entrance. |

I don't find Roode boring at all. I think he's a great ring technician and constantly makes his opponents look like a million bucks.

I'd argue that Asuka is a bigger star than Roode lol

Oh, no doubt, but Roode has the makings of a great superstar on the main roster in his own right. I wouldn't be surprised, if he's way over on his main roster if they might even pull a Sheamus-esque push, given his age if they see big things for him. Not that I'm saying they should, nor that I'd even agree with such hotshot booking, but IMHO it very well could happen.

Just got around to watching the Last Women Standing match and it was really great overall.
Best match of the three women main events this week which is a pretty cool achievement for the WWE. |

I haven't watched NXT in quite a while, but I have to say, the Asuka title reign has been intrigued. It's got this cool vibe about it just going on and on. I hope they don't just have Nikki Cross or Ember Moon beat her. Let the run go for as long as it's got wind.
