Oh. Didn't know being a decent team was considered a turn around. My bad.

Lol turn around. They haven't done anything of significance. Making a few wildcard games and one round playoff appearances isn't a "turn around".
The Cubs had a franchise turn around. Even Cleveland. Toronto has had more of a turn around than Baltimore and their cameo playoff appearances |

unfortunately if they're poo this year that attendance is plummeting. Toronto is a fickle fan base. |

At a certain point I just accept it's best to block Droford for a bit instead of just seeing the constant bickering nonstop. We all know he's an idiot.

David Wright won't be able to throw a baseball for weeks.
He looked done last year and now it seems even more apparent. |

2015
262/310/449 107 ops+ 1.6 WAR 2016 256/316/533 120 ops+ 1.6 WAR How about instead of cherry picking stats you just call it as it is. Surprise surprise, Trumbo was the same barely major league regular he's always been. Do you really want people to go back and point out all the dumb shit you say, like Jonathan Schoop is better than Jason Kipnis? Or how Joey Rickard was a good player? |

Schoop will be in the 30 hr group with Trumbo Davis Machado and Jones this year. Plus he played in all 162 games last year which Kipnis has never done in his career. I was wrong about Rickard to the extent of how he played when he was healthy but he was on the DL for a large portion of the year. Speaking of the Indians they seem to want Anthony Santander back from the Orioles..he's going to have a bigger impact as a Rule 5 pick than Rickard did. |

And Schoop probably has a bigger penis than Kipnis too. Chicks dig that as well.

Schoop has a career 283 career in base lmao. He's a career below average hitter lmao. His career "best" is a 306 on base unless you count the 5 games he played his first year lol. His "best" is worse than Kipnis' worst on base lmao. Kipnis is an all-star and Schoop is barely major league average, if that. Kipnis is Like 5x better lolololol. |

You weren't wrong on Rickard to the extent of blah blah blah. You were just wrong lol.
And you mean 21 year oops Andy Santander, who never played above A ball? Lmao who's the last rule 5 pick who didn't make it past A ball to make any mind of impact offensively? Lmao he Will probably get sent back to Cleveland. |

The Indians blog I read wants him back because he projects out to a Victor Martinez type player and he's only 22. They figured the Orioles figured they could stash him on the DL due to a shoulder surgery he had in December to satisfy the rule 5 25 man roster requirement and because the surgery wasn't a major one like previously thought he's healthy and won't be going to the dl barring another injury. But no way he goes back to Cleveland. The Orioles can use a backup OF with his potential in the future and they've never shyed away from using a roster spot for a rule 5 player before (mist famous being Flaherty from the Cubs in 2011 he's still a bench player)
OF Trumbo Jones Kim Smith IF Davis Schoop Hardy Machafo Flaherty C Castillo Joseph SP Tillman Gausman Bundy Jimenez Miley RP Britton Oday Givens Brach Hart There's 4 slots open for RP and utility players so there's a spot for Santander at least. And Jones had 29 hr in 152 games last year and 27 in 137 in 2015. He's a 30 hr guy when he doesn't miss games (32 in 2012 in 162 and 33 in 2013 in 160). Likelihood is he's gonna set sent back because the Orioles think they can compete and having a dead bat on the roster who is maybe a backup outfielder long-term is a wasted roster spot for them. But ok. He projects to be a Victor Martinez type. Based on a blog. Sure. |

Which is where the comparison to V Mart comes from Indians blog article I mentioned earlier The funny thing is Santander has never met Martinez and his batting stance and etc is all natural to him not trying to copy Martinez's |

So who do you think has a more valid opinion? A fan blog who's citing batting stance as a reason for a player comp, or a site run by mlb with real scouting reports by actual scouts measuring tools and ability instead of silly things like batting stances?

The Chris Sale trade looks even more important now. Imagine not acquiring him and Price going down.

They are about in the same place they were now. I'm not convinced Sale is that elite of a pitcher.

Sale is one of the best pitchers in baseball.
Price had a down year, not sure if that's the new norm for him though or if it was just bad luck. |

Seems odd he waited till now to deal with the problem if it kept bugging him every year. Either his previous doctor(s) were bad or Rays/Jays just took his word on it not being serious. |
