Lio Rush does a Finn Balor thing. I was going to say that the guy's got good presence, but then Davey Richards started shoving him and he did this school kid being bullied thing. It's a bit gross, but Vince would love it.

I've got to head to work, but from what I've seen he's pretty good. It's not really my style anymore, but he tries to make it look like he's fighting the guy and it's his best strategy to taking him on. He's in shape, he's just a small guy. And he's so fast that it does actually stand out from other fast guys. There's definitely a place for him somewhere as a bit of variety.

I had to turn it off , the quick editing and the different camera angles were really off putting
Plus the streamers for some reason were really annoying me . |

Guessing he wouldn't be allowed to do an entrance like that in WWE

I've never seen Rush do any type of Finn Balor thing. His entrance on NXT was pretty normal. Again, cool theme song at least. I can see him eventually becoming the inaugural champion on 105 Live.

I will say that the WWE name generator did him a favor, because Aleister Black is a more memorable name than Tommy End. |

Aleister Black will fuck you up, Vastardikai. I'll see to it personally. I was once invited to stay in the same house as him one night, but I didn't go.

It's also neat that he hasn't been relegated to yet another masked wrestler or stereotypical "Yo, esse!" street thug. The role of his manager is actually semi-refreshing as well: she isn't *just* an arm charm, she is also a proficient mouthpiece (he isn't bad, but not really great either), a traditional distractionary measure, and most importantly, actively keeps Almas focused by calling bullshit on his showboating since he acts too smug for his own good - in essence she is a part of his character. Hopefully, they stay a pair and the company doesn't get happy with a breakup and/or trying to make her the hot new starlet at his expense. |

Not really a fan of Lio Rush. I don't know what it is. Wasn't into him at all in ROH. Wasn't into anything I saw outiside of it. He just seems kinda... Young Buck-y.

My current favs are:
Nikki Cross SaniTy on a whole Billy Kay and Peyton Royce Aleister Black Velveteen Dream AOP Heavy Machinery - I Like how they work as a team, but I really think they need a different gimmick. I just cant seem to get behind them. TM-61 - Maybe it's the name of the team being weird to me, or I just don't know enough about either member. In ring, they're pretty good. |

Think one of them got very injured and they've been out ever since.....
I remember thinking they were just so generic and I couldn't really get into them........ |

Yeah, they didn't exactly suck or anything, but I could barely tell them apart, and I still don't even know their names.

Man...So depressing to look back on the season 1 guys and remember that only a few had even a glimpse of success, and only DB really broke out.
Really is a shame things didn't work out with Barrett...for a while it looked like he was being groomed to be the first English WWE Champion...and then he got stuck on SD as the leader of awfully named faction The Corre. |

I like TM61 on the basis that they're two guys who went to Japan to try and make it as a proper tag team. One is more of a pretty boy and another is more rough around the edges too. I can't remember their WWE names, but one is Mikey Nichols and kept his initials, and other was Shane Haste, but I think he changed the Haste to a Thorn or something.
I wasn't super-impressed by them in NXT, but I'm hoping that good things do come from them. They should repackage them when they return. Why not just call them TMDK and give them an Aussie rock sounding song when they get back. |

I would say Ember is going to be something special on the main roster, but they went so far in trying to prove she was inferior in her feud with Asuka - everything was balanced to make us Ooh & Aah over the other girl. She'll probably end up being the Becky Lynch of Raw, wins an occasional inconsequential match but all she'll be is a stepping stone to putting over other "more important" girls.
It breaks my heart |

Is that the sound of Ember slapping her arm, or the sound of whatever Joshi fetishist that booked that match busting a nut in the back? |

How did they go "so far in trying to prove" that Ember was inferior to Asuka?
By having very competitive matches, and being the only person Asuka went against who she felt the need to take shortcuts against? |

Yeah, Ember looked amazing in those matches. I actually didn't even for real start to like her until their last match. Soooooo good. One of my favorite matches ever.

By that every time they had a match, she lost.
By every time they show replays, they don't show Asuka taking shortcuts, they just show Ember tapping out like a madwoman. Because what of you heard on commentary anytime they shared the ring. "It's The Undefeated, Undisputed NXT Women's Champion! It's the Empress of Tomorrow! It's the most dominant competitor that NXT has ever seen! and ember." |

Because you say so. OK
I'm gonna spend a little more time off the bandwagon, at least til they stop booking her on the Goldberg streak and she's suffered a loss or two, when she has a little bit more depth other than "chick from country where wrestling is srs bisness who never loses". |

I remember the commentators talking up Ember Moon quite a bit as well. Obviously they had more things to talk up when it came to Asuka, but that is a given because she had so much more to talk up.
I remember them showing the replays of Asuka taking shortcuts all the time in the build up to their second match. If you mean in showing it now..... well, why would they? The point of the hype up video packs was to get Asuka over, so yeah, they are just going to show people tapping out. I still believe that there is a chance that Ember Moon will still be the first one to defeat Asuka. Picking up where they left off in NXT. |

Sarcasm? Yeah, it's kind of hard to convey in printed word. like I said, I'm going to keep off of declaring my love for all things Asuka for the time being, until she's able to dazzle me without the booking machine telling me that I need to be awestruck.

I'll break down by division:
Men's Division: Roderick Strong Women's Division: Nikki Cross Tag Team: Sanity-Eric Young and Killian Dane, Alexander Wolfe doesn't do anything for me, there is nothing distinct that stands out. |

He just doesn't do anything for me.....Eric Young has gotten my attention since he went away from being a comic and slapstick talent when he was in Impact and Killian Dane just has a look about him that's intimidating and yet for a big guy he moves with speed and still makes it look powerful. Wolfe just seems like he's lost in the shuffle to me as a 4th wheel to Sanity because they couldn't do anything else with him. I dunno, it may be too early to tell with him.
