2018 Games You've Completed
So i'm about to wrap up God of War 2 tonight. I feel like more of a man because of it.
It dont matter who did what to who at this point. The fact is, we went to war. And now there aint no going back. It's what war is you know? Once you're in it, you're in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie, but we gotta fight! |

Ok just finished GoW 2. What an awesome game. There were a few hours in the middle where i wished there were more epic fights. But the beginning and end were amazing and the story was fantastic. Loved it.

I just realized that 2017 was the first year minus the year I was in jail that I failed to complete a game for the first time. Infact I think the last game I actually completed was The Phantom Pain (Kinda)

I don't know if I've completed that many in my life, but I've probably beat a few dozen at least.

Can't imagine getting all trophies/achievementsin a game. Seems like it would feel more like work than fun.

It was okay. I got Uncharted 4 for free with purchasing my PS4 and never heard of the franchise until then. Played that and liked it, so got the collection. I started 2 and really liked that one so far

WOOOOO beat Lost Sphear. First game of the year.
Final boss battle was a joke. Only 1 boss battle gave me trouble. |

Beyond Two Souls was so good. Yeah the romantic angles sucked and they force it on you pretty hard but I still picked a path without it which felt cool. I think this game gets hate for moving pretty slow at times (deciding what to cook, taking out the frying pan, putting the ingredients in, cleaning the apartment etc) but I find those moments interesting. This game just tells a story in such a cool way.

Just completed Sonic Forces. Bought it on clearance for Xbox One, and actually enjoyed it. The levels were too short and I think it was a missed opportunity for a really good Sonic games if the developer had made the levels longer, but it's the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure.

Super Mario Odyssey Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle The game really starts to fall apart during the last world. None of the puzzles were fun to do and the sudden rules changes made it a lot less fun than the previous 3 worlds. |

Finished God of War (PS4) a while back.
Secret of Mana (PS4). So this must be where "Grinding" came from in video game jargon. I probably would have been finished a few hours sooner if I didn't have to waste time in the Mana Fortress searching for all the weapon orbs. Missed a few trophies, but I don't think I'll go back to it anytime soon. |

I liked it, I like all the Quantic Dream games. People were pissing in their mouths because the game tried to make too much of a statement and wasn't enjoyable enough, I didn't feel that way. I did get the sense that the game wasn't really listening to me and altering the story according to my choices though.

Okay. I'm more than likely buying it soon and wanted to get some more user reviews on it. I really enjoyed Heavy Rain which was also made by Quantic Dream |

Final Fantasy 8. Emotions were had.
Computer lagged bad during some of Ultimecia's transformations. You would think my state of the art 2018 laptop would be able to handle a game from 1999..... |

I got too frustrated at it when the more complicated rules came in, because I guess I'm not smart enough for them. I mean, I still grinded through it and collected all the cards, it just took me a long time and many times losing and resetting (so I don't have to then win the card I lost back in addition to trying to win the one I wanted)
