Barely on pg 5 for raw thread, is the nfl game tonight really big? Thought this would be more trafficked following a big ppv.

Feels like interest in WWE is down in general lately...

Maybe that explains the live attendance being down...honestly, in my #HotTake, it is from over-saturating the market. There's a lot of WWE content out there, could overwhelm the hardcore fans -- But also 'turn off' new fans who think it seems like it a 'big commitment' to start watching.

Enzo Amore as a heel is an interesting move. I was thinking that the best way to present him would be a Chris Jericho-like heel. Got no clue where they go with Neville now. A feud with Finn Balor would have been nice if they weren't keeping Balor vs. Bray going.
Also, why are they doing The Shield vs. The Miztourage? Who takes the heels seriously in that? Why not Sheamus, Cesaro and a third member? Fuck, why not make that Neville? Or Braun Strowman? Or Samoa Joe, if he's healthy? |

At this point, Triple H coming in and teaming with Sheamus and Cesaro against them would make more sense.

Guess the rumors about Miz-Reigns being a long feud and WWE wanting Reigns to hold the IC belt for Mania are likely true now. Also at Jordan's road to the IC title being pushed off to the side again. |

Watching Enzo taking a Nexus-style beatdown from the entire cruiserweight division really warmed my heart on this Tuesday morning.

Just finished watching.
Reigns going right back to lame babyface after "heeling it up" with Cena is a bummer, but not exactly shocking. His promo sounded super forced. Ambrose/Braun was fun. I'm glad Dean put up a fight. But poor Hawkins lol I'm sure I've said this before, but I feel bad for Jason Jordan getting no reaction for his entrance. Dude is legit once the bell rings. Miztourage beatdown on Reigns was great. Was a bit worried Roman would "overcome the odds." The fist bump while standing over him was a nice touch. And the Enzo promo: I thought it was awesome. I've always enjoyed him on the mic and him [hopefully] going heel using his real life drama is perfect. The beatdown from Neville (and post-show bonus) was tremendous. And I love that they got the main event spot for the night. |

I actually liked the finish to Enzo vs Neville in that it was logical. He was outclassed and won the only possible way he could a kick to the nuts.
Now that he is heel it makes more sense. |

Jason Jordan needs a new song, the one he has now sounds like the song playing in teenage boy bathrooms while they gussy up for a junior high dance. Sure, they're gonna touch their crush's butt, but at what cost? |

They need to work him as a heel low/mid and give him a good feud with someone that can work at that level so they can both get over. Turning him on Kurt would help eventually but they would have to be comfortable working it.

Well, at least he's not Bobby Lashley's cousin, so he has a future in WWE

Yeah his theme being terrible certainly doesn't help. I do think he could eventually turn on Kurt to "get out of his shadow" or something like that.

So let me get this right...
WWE basically gave Roman Reigns the keys to the kingdom by having him go over Undertaker & John Cena clean in the same year, yet, they have to put him back with Rollins & Ambrose just to get people to cheer while he's on the ring apron? Yeah, the future not so bright IMO. He needs to turn out right and change his character in order for people to remotely care about what he does in the ring. I really thought Raw sucked big time last night, probably worst of the year thus far. Aside from the Alexa/Mickie angle which is an extension of Alexa's current storyline run, it seems like almost everything that was building to No Mercy (including the event itself) didn't matter and needs to be forgotten. I mean, talk about hitting the reset button!?! |

It is actually hilarious how they keep marching every single person out to give him an endorsement not understanding that it comes across as extremely manufactured.
If he was as good of a heel as they try to pretend they book him as, interest wouldnt be so low. |

How do they logically have Reigns going for the IC title after he just possibly retired Taker and just beat John Cena. Didn't he win the Strowman feud too? I don't watch so I may be wrong on that. Like what is there left to do besides challenge Brock?

I hope they have Reigns challenge Brock at Survivor Series or earlier. I just don't know how much longer they can drag their feet with it. "It's Reigns yard now, but we're gonna keep him away from the top prize."

Wait, are they really gonna have Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins vs Miz, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas headline a PPV? lol
They can't possibly. ... Can they!?! |

That's how the go home Raw before the PPV will end. With Heath Slater standing between the two teams and Michael Cole asking that question.
