It's kinda ridiculous that there is only one team that might beat the Pats. I honestly think the Pats are winning by 14 at least.

plain and simple, it's the NFL, you may change the play calling a little bit, or pull your starters, but you don't take your foot off the pedal!

November 25th 2004- "The Colts replaced Manning with Jim Sorgi late in the third quarter. December 5th 2004 - The Titans tried 3 onside kicks and a fake field goal in this game. . At the end of the first half, the score was 31-24 Colts. It was 41-24 in the 4th quarter. Manning was sat in the 4th quarter after his last touchdown which put them up 48-24. Needless to say, i posted all the recaps for you. There's nothing talking about the Colts running up the score infact it was the opposite. Every single game Manning and the starters were benched in the 4th. Its really really easy to go back through schedules and pick out the biggest point differntials and point fingers at them and say they were running up the score, just to justify your team doing it. Obviously that wasnt the case. Good thing all this info is still available to obtain, incase someone tries to twist the facts.

RP - you missed my point, I'm not saying the Colts or Rams were running up the score. I'm saying the opposite you play the game.

the Miami game, down 21 points with almost a whole qtr left isn't a blow out anymore, look at the AFC championship game, Pats kicked the Colts ass in the 1st half... but the game wasn't over.

The Redskins game, it was the backup QB and yeah, I want him running plays, I want my backup to get as much real-game experience as he can incase my starting QB gets injured.

Anyway, can't wait for sunday.

The Dolphins game can be looked at from different ways. I tend to think that its pretty safe to call off the dogs when somone named Lemon is QBing them and they dont have there starting running back anymore.

The Redskins game was obviously running up the score. I laughed cause Belichek said something like " Do you want us to kick a field goal? " when asked about going for it on 4th down while being up 38-0. I'm thinking " No dumbshit, thats why you employ a punter! ". But thats me being biased i guess.

Yea right after the Cowboys game I wasn't quite sure they ran up the score. But now it is blatanly obvious. But what can we do, cry about it? I certainly hope they don't win the superbowl and tank somehow so we can all laugh..but doubt it'll happen.

They didn't really run up the score against Dallas. They needed to keep scoring the entire game. Then when they were up 41-27, they just kinda ran one in.

You are comparing those teams to this years' Pats. The comparison is ridiculous. The argument is that New England has been running up the score... those teams obviously weren't. I don't know how posting scores from other teams who have blown their opponents out proves anything really. No one's arguing "you play the game"... it's what you do once you have the game wrapped up.

Yeah the NFL's overtime is such bullshit.

They don't need to make it like college and have each team start on the 25 or any of that, but they need to at least give the other team a chance to have the ball if one team scores on the first possession. And if they go 4 and out/miss a FG/turn the ball over, it's over. So unfair that the whole game can come down to a fucking coin flip.

Denver could have stopped Green Bay, and they didn't. I see your point about each team getting the ball etc. and yeah possession is decided on the coin flip, but ultimately its up to the defenders to stop the offense. They didn't, so they lose.

The Redskins Defense which is considered good this year couldn't stop Matt Cassell on 4th down. Could they have punted the ball into the end zone? sure... but why just give the ball away? Why not take advantage of a rare chance to have your backup QB get some ingame live experience.

Hey, if Indy's spanks the Pats 70-0 this weekend good for them, I just don't see it happening, I admit I'm doing what I never do which is count the Colts out, I just don't see how anyone stops this Offense and to get in a shoot-out you have to destroy this defense which is one of the best.

I think it will be a good game, but in the end I see the Pats by at least 10 points.

I also think this roll continues, I don't think they go undefeated, something will happan, but I think Brady shatters the QB records and takes league MVP. Which will bring back a fun off season debatone of Brady vs. Manning.

What happens if the Colts actually do play the Patriots in the playoffs? I think ESPN has burned through all there ColtsvPats material for the next 3 years. I'm still betting theres gunna be a Hunter Smith/ Chris Hanson feature before this game even happens. I dont know what ESPN will do for a potential rematch in the playoffs.
