yeah, CTS, the term "Nazi" is something I've never liked being used on people, this is nothing new.
anyway, I want to see the Pack v. the Pats... a little revenge for 96 when Parcells was making his Jets deal the night before the super bowl and didn't care and kept kicking to Howard. |

By that logic, doesn't that mean that the only people who can talk trash to anybody else is New Engl... I mean... whoever wins the Super Bowl this year?

Nah Krispy, fuck that. I would much rather have the Rams at least make the postseason, and lose out, than not make it at all. It gives you more hope for next season.

In all likelihood the better you do the less you will need a high draft pick.

Well its obviously not the case every time but teams that go to the playoffs or are in the hunt every year likely don't need a high draft pick, they can make due with one in the 20's or up.

I am not Eli's biggest support, but I will say this.
Eli throws one of the best deep outs in recent memory. I cannot think of many that are better. |

They still didnt cut it when it mattered the most.
At least I am not making excuses. I understood the team is young and there were plenty of stupid penalties but at the end of the day, they just didnt have it that day. Always next year. Always. |

Come on though. Really? New Orleans had some pretty good games but the key players were horribly inconsistent when they were healthy. Brees looked like he did early in his career and Reggie Bush still hasn't put up NEARLY the numbers he was expected to.

I would much rather make the playoffs and not win then not make the playoffs for a better draft pick, that is a really, really dumb argument. Like I hope that was just another example of "talking shit" or something

As a life long Aints fan, I have seen them ripping defeat from the jaws of victory for far too long.. Last year was great.. We went into the playoffs as the second seed and actually had a shot at the Superbowl.. This year, we could've made still made the playoffs as of week 17 but we were horrible.. Even if we had made it, we prolly would've gotten destroyed in the wildcard round.. Why would I have wanted that?? As opposed to a top ten pick?? |

Not making the playoffs to get a higher (not always better) draft pick is a terrible attitude to have in my opinion, not that really matters since that is only your attitude and not that of players. So while everyone on TPWW thinks they play for each team they support, they don't, so their attitudes towards the game really don't matter I suppose. |

Never understood getting worked up over sports teams, like 'Oh fuck you Jets suck hahahahahaha GGGGGGGGGG MEN'. "Oh you are right, JEts blow this year, just curois who are the Giants linebackers?"
....... (dunno I just watched my first Giants game yestreday) |

You were like what 9 or 10 when they won their last one?
and throughout most of your life the Cowboys have been a pretty big joke. In the last 10 years Eagles pretty much dominted the NFC east. So I can make fun of the Cowboys, and their recent failures. |

Are we talking about the past or are we talking about this season? Figure it out and get back to me on whether I should just make fun of Philly for not even making the playoffs this year or for never winning a Super Bowl in their existence. I'm pretty easy. I'll let you choose the argument, I don't really care one way or the other. lol

lol I'm all for friendly jabs back and forth but this is ridiculous. I find it hilarious when people bring up a team's past accomplishments when they should be talking about the here and now. lol wtf.

What are you talking about??
Brees is still one of the best QB's in the league and Bush is still one of the best utilities players.. With Deuce being hurt (first quarter week 3), Bush was put in the position to be an every down back, which he is not.. He is much better in motion and playing wide out or slot.. Sure they made a horrible pick up in Jason "I'm the biggest piece of shit alive" David but other than that our D was fairly stout.. Good line, with decent linebackers, and guys like Mike McKenzie who didn't give up a TD until like week 15.. Other key injuries hurt us big also.. Brian Young was hurt for most of the season with Charles Grant fighting injuries for more than half the season.. Look at what the Colts great pass rushing line looked like without Freeney.. When some of your best d-linemen are hurt, that allows opposing o-lines to double up on guys like Will Smith etc.. Colston and Eric Johnson fought injuries late and Reggie missed like 3 and half game in the second half of the season.. Show me any team who lose 3 RB's for multiple games in one season, who make the super bowl.. |
