I didn't ask for this job, buddy. What I did ask for was FREE shipping on orders over $40 at Warm Belly Bakery, using code SHIP, (expires 11/30).

WWE Youtube Views VS. IMPACT Youtube Views Let's not forget what kind of budget the WWE is working with vs. Impact too. Not to mention the fact that the WWE is promoted as a children's television show and can coast off their success in the 80s and 90s a good part of the time while TNA was always fairly obscure in comparison. |

Nobody is arguing that they're making more money or getting more views on average, and I am being a bit hyperbolic, but for what Impact is and how much they have to work with they're generating a fair amount of buzz. Compare WWE with someone like PewDiePie and you'll see a similar dwarfing. |

Although, XL, on second look, I missed some of the 900k view posts from WWE which makes the million view video NOT an outlier.

And LU doesn't update their Youtube channel nearly as much. Here's their views from now to 4 months. NJPW average is also low and more comparable to ROH as far as Youtube views anyway. MLW's full shows regularly garner about 80k+ views, but their regular content is hit or miss. As far as youtube is concerned, Impact is #2 and WWE is #1. |

TNA has dipped below the estimated number of viewers ROH was getting a few years ago.

Sounds like the changing time slot did some damage. What exactly were those estimate numbers and who estimated them? Was it Meltzer in 2015? |

Meltzer did suggest 350,000 homes in 2015. Brandon Howard did an article on the numbers here:
https://www.voicesofwrestling.com/20...d-njpw-on-axs/ Here's a chart with their estimated viewers: Basically, when ROH was on Destination America at the same time as TNA, more people did watch TNA, by ROH was also broadcast through it's Sinclair partners. It was being broadcast locally by 85 stations, so through that you can make a guess as to the average number of viewers who watch those stations, and he came up with that number as a low-end guess, which would be in addition to the DA number of 221,000 (with two airings). Now, TNA continues to go down the drain, but ROH has actually seen an increase in attendance and I believe they are on in more homes now. If you took the TNA decline as an industry standard, then it would be fair to assume that ROH is watched by, like, 30,000 people. But I don't think there is sufficient reason to suspect that is the case. I imagine that ROH is probably is watched, in the United States, by probably as many people that watched it in 2015. I mean, television generally goes down, but they have more channels now. But you can also watch it on apps and on their website (I believe). But yeah, ROH also have deals in India and Portugal, so they have international stuff on the go too. I'd wager a guess and suggest that more than 100,000 people still watch them. |

While Punk "never wants to wrestle again", the Million Dollar man had a point when he said everybody's got a price. If Punk's offered say 5 mil for a show, how could he say no? It'd make him a complete hypocrite (moreso than one could say he already is for the UFC grandstanding) so Destor would be disgusted, but it'd make him a rich hypocrite.

I personally think Punk would accept no less than 10 million dollars for an appearance, of which he is not even close to being worth. He's a big draw to neckbeards, but nobody else gives a flying fuck about him.

Punk is going to have to pay more in taxes now, so he'll probably take whatever payday he can get.

I'd rather see Punk go against AJ Styles or Jeff Hardy. I suppose there is time.
The stuff with Colt Cabana and him getting booed at Chicago means he can skip the New Japan/ROH "street cred" appearances. He can come back as a massive hypocrite and milk those easily played fans. It'd be a timing issue at this point. Does he want to come back on The Rock's card to wrestle Shane? Does he have film roles that he would rather milk first? |

Damn, Taka Michinoku is paying out the ass for that one. They must take that stuff pretty seriously in Japan.
It'll be interesting to see if TNA gets to keep their TV deal and whether or not anyone else will take them. |
