Getting pumped for this, desperate to finish Saints Row 4 before getting it though.

Depends on his definition of finish. Could mean simply beating the story, or it could mean completing the game itself to 100%, like so many people try to do in (ironically) Grand Theft Auto games. The definition of finishing/beating/completing games is subjective. No offense, KK, but I would think that you, of all people would know that. Or is having a soul not in your nature, ya prick?!

I've always seen it like this. "Finishing a game" is seeing the story through to the credits. "Completing a game" is getting your file/stats to 100%.
Example: "I finished GTA IV years ago but I never got round to completing it." |

Fair enough. I still believe those two words to be highly subjective to each individuals' intrrpretation, however.

Something for Scottish posters. Looks like there could be a beer in the game called Jakeys. Another wee Scottish reference. I wonder what it's ingame advert will be like.
Also seen a brief glimpse of something that looks like a brand on someones jacket and starts "Tink" and could be tinkey/tinky. I always enjoy the nods and references to Scottish stuff. BAWSAQ etc. |

Some people think the Egochaser video could be showing us more than we realise. They think it could be showing that the BMX is capable of actually doing what we see in the video and that we get to see "real" mountain climbing rather than the usual GTA "running up the side of a mountain like it's a hill" thing and even melee attacks and diving rather than jumping off of bridges.

- The game is extremely detailed. Even graffiti isn't repeated.
- No load times. - Phones seem to have apps. One example given was a person tracker to find someone while on a mission. Not sure if you can buy your own or if they are just on the phone when you need them. - The map is opened from the start but the ingame map is covered in a "fog of war" meaning you will only see parts of the map you have visited. - It's hard to land a helicopter on Mt Chilliad due to crosswinds. Standing at the bottom of the mountain and looking up, the mountain looks "Intimidatingly vast." - Dog are in GTAO. So, TPWW will be getting a crew dog, I guess? One each? - Hidden packages have been removed in favour of "side missions". The example given was a news report on the radio saying a homicide commited 30 years ago was being re-investigated. Once you hear this and the location you can then head over to the scene and take part in that investigation. - Weapons confirmed: Pistols, automatic pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, baseball bats, golf clubs, knives, miniguns, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, sniper rifles and more. - Rather than have one of each type of gun (In previous GTA games, you could only carry one type of handgun, one type of melee weapon etc), you can carry them all at once in GTA V. - You can customise all guns. - More weapons than any GTA ever. - Cars definitely wont need fuel. - 240 songs, 17 radio station (15 music and 2 talk) and 20 hours of dynamic/environmental music. - You can change radio station from a "weapon wheel" interface with the radio station logos. This is done by pressing LB on the 360 version. - Weapon wheel is brought up with the RB. - You can switch off the cars lights and you can take down/put up the roof of a soft top car with right on the d-pad. - More cars than any GTA before and all customisable. - You hold down down on the d-pad to bring up the character switching wheel and then select your character. |

If you see a heist in progress online can you phone the police to troll them?

I thought you were on a black out until release. You can never be too careful. I thought the app spoiler was justified because it was involved in a mission and it gave you a little idea of what you do in that mission. I got a bigger spoiler about it. Telling me who I was looking for, why and where so at least I didn't include that.
Some people like to find out these things for themselves. No idea but that would be cool. I can see GTAO becoming just endless dog attacks and screw jobs. |

I wonder how long it'll be before someone sets up a dog fighting circuit online. Assuming the dogs in the game will be able to attack each other.

I'm surprised they didn't cause a scene about RDR. I guess the time period might have been enough for them not to care. Or maybe because it's not a big enough name. I'm sure GTA will hit the right notes for some kind of publicity stunt from them.

Rockstar handle that kind of attack pretty well. To non-gamers, I think GTA has always been the "bad boy" of gaming so they always want to play each game. A PETA protest or a news story about it will just spread the word of the games release and bump up sales.
Pretty sure that happens every single time. |

Oh, I guess I should mention to the TPWW crew that I'm getting this on PS3. All my RL friends have switched to PS3's within the last 5 or 6 months, and I don't even have an XBL subscription so yeah.
