In the moment I was kinda annoyed at McCool getting to eliminate so many people and chalked it up to her getting to do it because she's Mrs. Taker.
But thinking about it, she's 5'10" which made her one of the tallest women in the match and therefore one of the few people who could get people over the top rope relatively easily. |

Anyone notice Sasha Banks horrible "kicks"?
She did it once against Lita where she was "kicking" her, but with no force and you could see as plain as day she was just slightly kicking the air several inches in front of her. Sasha did it again later on vs someone else. Dunno who. |

Becky's suplexes looked terrible near the end of her run too.
I think conditioning was definitely an issue as even the Sashas and Beckys rarely wrestle more than 10-15 minutes at a clip. It's understandable but I still think they should've stayed in the ring and just sold in the corner like the men do. |

Listening to a podcast. Besides the host almost all the callers are hating on the Royal Rumble.

I think everyone always hypes up the Rumble, when usually it's a match with barely anything happening for huge spots and they don't normally book anything in the early sections.
They did better this year than they have in many years, so I'm OK with that. |

My biggest complaint was that not every entrant got to hit Heath Slater. He should have stayed after being eliminated.

Yeah, this Rumble didn't feel like it had that many dead spots. Some of the early intervals were clocking in at < 90 seconds so they sped it along at the spot where it made sense to.
Probably the most I enjoyed a Rumble upon first viewing since 2010. That Rumble felt like the SVR games where you could never have more than 6 people in the ring, but stuff was constantly happening and it didn't ever really feel like a slog. |

What does the IWC want? Probably Reigns not getting the moon push and main eventing WM. But since we know that is the plan, the IWC would probably have preferred him going over at the Rumble for that huge reaction since we know he's going to win the elimination chamber now and it won't have near the entertaining impact. Just a guess.

Lesnar not having enough dates will do it. Guess that'll be a Summerslam match or something.
Since they've allegedly been building to Roman/Brock for a year, you would have though they'd have put some thought into major challengers. Realistically, you've only got Braun, Brock and Miz and one of them he's had a long feud with already so won't want to burn early and one is part-time. Miz probably can get enough juice out of it for a couple of months, but who's the next Raw built up heel? I'd guess Joe, not sure how long he's out for though. |

It's the WWE, that's how.
I have this sinking feeling they may try to force another triple threat by adding Strowman to Lesnar v Reigns. Unfortunately. I see the WWE logic being along the lines of "Strowman being in this match will make the crowd happier!" Even though Roman winning will crush all of that and probably make it much much worse. And after that stinker of a triple threat last night I am not at all enthused about the prospect of another one. What would they even do with Lesnar v Strowman at EC? Strowman going over would be the only possible way to make that go over well because Lesnar winning would be yet another blow to their most popular main event act atm and pointless in the grand scheme of things. And do you really put Strowman over Lesnar to then job him to Reigns? That's a short term fix to the larger issue and that isn't going to go over well; that's going to get more boos than Reigns over Lesnar will by a long shot. The only way they could get maximum joy from the fan base is to put Strowman over Lesnar and then over Reigns; and the likelihood of that happening is almost absolute zero. No way the WWE will strike while the iron is hot. |

It feels like theyve dropped that though. The finish last night calls for a singles. So either the fork out some cash for an extra date at fastlane or theyre building to a mania match...
...or they just move on like theres nothing to see here. |

And which of those roads does the WWE usually choose to travel?
Did you see Dolph Ziggler in the Rumble last night? |

Best case scenario for Mania (for me at this point)is Brock vs Strowman and Reigns vs Miz.
I put the over/under on that actually occurring at not ever gonna happen. |

But hey, I'd watch if they forked out the money for Brock and just had him and Braun stiff the shit out of each other some more. No interest in watching a PPV headlined by Roman going to Mania via the chamber as has been the rumour for about 6 months now. But that, sure. |

Dolph's appearance was absolutely hilarious. Vacates the US title without explanation, randomly shows back up in the Rumble and does nothing.
I wanted him to reprise his gimmick of mimicking other wrestlers' entrances and have him enter to Cult of Personality. Think Philly would've even cheered Reigns or Cena throwing him out at that point. |

It does lead me to think that he was planned to win it at one point. It all makes sense.
Then someone went "Oh, you meant that guy winning... No" |

I honestly think Dolph's entire WWE career is a rib on Dolph at this point.
Even the commentary at that point was just Michael Cole saying, "didn't he retire or something?" Nobody gives a shit. |

Apparently nearly half of the people who have drawn #1 or #2 throughout history have made it past the final entrant throughout Rumble history.
I mean I get it, but it kinda kills the talking point that it's some crazy huge disadvantage to get those spots. |
