Obviously you are right, but because those matches were so recent, I think it would be a safe bet |

If anything many posters here have evolved past only carrying about TEH WORKRATE.
I'd actually argue Bryan would've won this in a rout 5-10 years ago. Jericho would've smoked Andre too. |

If you think the only reason why someone would vote for Lawler or Funk or Andre or even Savage then I'm not sure you could understand why someone like Bryan Danielson, CM Punk or even Bret Hart could make it to begin with.

Go back 10 years or however long ago it was that we first did Rate a Wrestler threads. The indy darlings of the time consistently pulled huge scores while people like Lawler and Andre were not viewed in any sort of positive light.
We were all younger than and frankly most people on this board didn't care about older wrestling and found it to be bland compared to what we were seeing then. We all grew up and realized the brilliance of the older generation and realized what they actually contributed, basically. |

Trust me. Every single big man wrestler was viewed as a talentless hoss. I can guarantee you Braun Strowman would've been wholly disliked on this board 10-12 years ago.

The only difference is he still won us over whereas a decade ago we probably would've been so close minded he wouldn't have gotten a chance. Would've been too busy bitching about Vince's latest hoss getting a push.

With the majority of hoss/Big Man type guys in the WWE over the years, they are missing one or both of those key areas that dooms them in the end. |
