I already forget.
And Sara would know that Merlyn is "responsible", but doesn't change that Thea did the physical act.... though I dunno how it works.... |

So is Laurel going to continue to have always bad ideas? Will she ever get smarter? I didn't really like tonight's episode. I usually like every episode to. |

I really liked this tonight.
Everything might have tied up too nicely at the end, but overall this was really good. I'm glad Oliver started looking like a leader again(Even though his first plan went horribly wrong) instead of just another guy in Team Arrow. That's my least favorite thing about this season so far... Oliver has been depowered big time. He beat Ra's Al Ghul last year he should be really fuckin tough... It annoys me. |

Weakest part of the episode was the flashbacks.
Wasn't really a deep origin story for Hawkgirl and Hawkman. |

Enjoyed the reference to Hath-Set in the flashbacks....
"Weird" that they decided to call Ollie's son William instead of Connor.... |

No way she's in the grave btw. Don't believe it.
Tonight's episode was good. Got to see The Green Arrow going old school Arrow on people. So what was in the Warehouse? |

Really hope the death thing is just "faking her death to keep her safe".... Oliver hides her away with Merlyn or something while she is in "critical condition", tells everyone she died.
She inevitably comes back and is "furious" or whatever at him for doing that while he is just all "I did it to protect you" in an angry whisper voice. They break up...... but better apart than her dead.... |

I just watched one episode of the current season, the crossover with Flash.
What the fuck is with his superhero voice? It sounds ridiculous. |

I like it when Oliver goes off the rails... Poor Felicity
Theory time.... Diggle is in the grave. Oliver is not talking about killing Darhk, but killing Andy Diggle, because Andy killed Digg. Or Diggle is in the grave, but Merlyn killed him, and Oliver has finally come to his senses about killing Merlyn. Yeah I don't know about of any these theories, but I still think it's the Mom of Oliver's baby. |

I don't think it's Thea.
Also Laurel remains to be the worst person of all time. How dare she gets mad at Oliver when she has done million of other dumb things, and never explains herself. Also just one time I want one of Oliver's crazy plans to work. |

i've moved away from det. lance being my suspected grave-occupier, on account of felicity seemed way *too* upset about it to be him. like she would have been upset about it anyway but i dunno if quite to the level of tearily telling ollie to commit straight-up murder, unless she gets especially close with him while he's throwing it in her mum. plus the mum *has* been popping up a lot more recently, so wouldn't be totally surprised if it's her. still think it could be diggle but i honestly think that would be the dumbest fucking decision this show could make. ollie/diggle friendship is a goddamn pillar of the show, and i don't know that i would enjoy it anywhere near as much without it
they finally properly "oracled" felicity, too. my fiancee (who loves barbara gordon as oracle, don't get me wrong) has been quietly hoping that they'd at least give her that name as a call-sign, but if she's wheelchair-bound from here they've basically straight-up babs'ed her, so would be good for her to get a code name at last interesting that darhk's wife seems to be totally complicit in his dealings too dug anarky in his "complete" form. way better than he was before the break. missed curtis though. was surprised he wasn't seen even in passing visiting felicity in hospital; feel like they've probably reached a stage where he'd do that for her |

I didn't see that coming...
Also thought this was going to be the worst Flashback ever, but the end of the flashback tied it together nicely. Missed the code name Oliver gave Felicity. When did Diggle start going by Spartan? This was the first I've heard that. |

Digging the costume, and I'm elated to see Vixen coming to the live action Flarrow-verse. Just wish they'd kept the short hair though. Looks better in my opinion. I mean I'm guessing the actress didn't wanna cut her hair, but it'd just look like 10x better in my opinion.

No way Diggle dies after that at least I hope not. Im sticking my Thea assumption and possibly a Roy return as Speedy. Brings Malcolm back into the mix as a villian as well.

I really like the Flashbacks this year even though it seems like they have been put on the back burner so far. I still don't know where they are going with it, but I'm looking forward to it.

guess it could be thea in the grave, if they don't pull her out of the coma. it'd be an easy path to follow from here
buuuut i can't really see ollie killing malcolm (i kind of expect merlyn to be the big bad again next season, having attained full 'archenemy' kinda skill/status, in what i assume will be the show's last year) but i also don't know that nyssa is so dead inside that she wouldn't give them the lotus regardless of whether he succeeds her line about it kinda bothered me though; if there's a condition, you're not giving it freely. you're giving it conditionally. she should have just said "i'll give it to you on one condition" but i'm being pedantic as hell either way, i've been wrong before. ANYWAY about time we got in-canon confirmation that calculator is felicity's dad. feel like that's been fanon for like three years at least, so it's nice to see the show bring that to the screen so glad to see curtis back also, fucking love that guy. marked out when he used the t-sphere, even if it kind of literally blew up in his face. hoping they start making solid traction on his development into mr terrific soon. was good to see roy back in the mask. he rocks that arsenal costume. also lovely to see tatsu again. was worried they were gonna 'deadshot' her with suicide squad around the corner but i'm glad that she appears to have been spared a killing-off, for now weirdly light on diggle this week but i guess he got a solid amount of focus last week so i didn't really notice laurel seems to be getting marginally less terrible but that also might only be because she didn't do much this week no idea at this advent how they're gonna weave in vixen, seems heaps left-field/unnecessary at the moment, but i remain excited by the prospect nonetheless |

i'm with you in that i'm not really sure what they're ramping up to. in theory they still have another entire year of flashbacks to get through next season before they "catch up" to the start of the series (which is part of why i think it will be a five-season show; plus i'd rather that they keep each individual show to a finite start-finish plan and just replace the old shows with new ones to keep the universe alive - so like a vixen standalone could replace arrow when it finishes [and have team arrow cameos on occasion if they're up for it], rather than just dragging the original show through seven-plus seasons for no reason - that said, i love arrow so i'll probably be all sad if they do can it at season five), so it can't be anything too major in terms of ultimately getting ollie on the path back to starling city for good.
i have liked this season's flashbacks more than the hong kong saga, definitely. dunno what it is that is so interesting about "the island", but i think maybe people felt cheated that he hadn't actually spent the full five years there, kinda. feel like i wasn't alone in not loving hong kong, so i'm glad they dumped him back in the thick of it. no idea what baron reiter's endgame is though. can't wait to see coughlan get his shit ruined; dude is the fucking worst. or he'll come to his senses and turn on reiter at the last minute and still die anyway. either way, i'm fine with it. they're clearly ramping up the mysticism of the whole thing so we should be in store for a pretty good back half. was nice to see shado back for a spell too, even as a hallucination. |

nah he hasn't been on it before, but people have been speculating about her dad for years and the calculator was one of the main recurring names brought up in the course thereof. sort of a "wouldn't it be cool if..." kinda thing that the showrunners were either aware of and ran with, or it just made the most sense and was gonna happen regardless

Calculator was a dude from the comics
Wore a calculator on his chest as part of his costume and fought Batman Then he was "re-imagined" much later as the "anti-Oracle" (Oracle being the crippled Barbara Gordon). Hacker/Computer Wiz/Source of Info/Intel but for villains instead of heroes. |

That was good some fuckin good Arrow. I didn't see any of the twist's coming.
However my early prediction of Oliver having to kill Malcolm at the end of the year and not Dahrk is right on the mark... So far |

Pretty game-changing episode right there.
Glad to see Malcolm go full heel again. Never liked the shoe-horning of him into the ally role, however "reluctantly". |

I have no idea what is happening on the Island..... very interested to see what is in the cave....
Was Dahrk arrested, or what? Didn't he get beat unconscious? Would seem like he should have been arrested, or at the very least "unofficially jailed". |

All I know is that in the comics, Baron Reiter was another name that Baron Blitzkrieg went by very briefly.... but the show character is nothing like him at all.
