I thought it was a pretty good show. Tag team cell match was great and the main event was fine for what it was. I really liked Jinder vs Nakamura match and actually enjoy Mahal in the ring. He's smart and powerful which is all he needs to be. If only he had not been rushed to the title scene I'd be fine with him. Just don't think WWE has used Shinsuke right in my opinion, talking with that mouth piece is stupid. Don't agree with the US Championship changing hands but I'd imagine AJ will have it back soon.

WWE has gone out of their way to make Shinsuke just another guy, probably not on purpose though lol

Was nice of them to claim a sellout crowd despite showing a half empty arena.

One year ago, saying "Nakamura will be on the main roster in a year jobbing clean to Jinder Mahal" would just be something crazy you say to exaggerate how badly WWE ruins everything.

Jinder was totally off television until it came to having backstage skits with Rusev.

Trying to think of who Jinder Mahal's next opponent will be..... Is he just gonna fight Nakamura again? Feud feels kind of "done" and "lost" by Nakamura.
I would have suggested Sami Zayn as his next opponent, but I guess that isn't going to happen now. AJ Styles is probably going to be involved with Corbin and the US Title for another month or two. Bobby Roode seems like he is still going to involved with Ziggler for at least another match. Randy Orton just came off a long never-ending feud with Jinder..... Who is left? |

Not worked my way through yet, just got done with that. But I assumed it was since nothing was going to top that.
I'm glad Xavier has had more of a chance to shine recently. He's a decent wrestler and athlete, not the best in the world, but he's fantastic at adding those little details that can elevate a spot to something memorable with just the right facial or reaction. The desperation handcuffed save where he just collapses on top of Big E, getting in the face of the trapped Uso behind bamboo. Just little things that can elevate a moment. Because he had no character. People would be much more on board now. |

Yeah he was still pretty green and bland at that point. Totally different guy now. Would have to re jig his fun explosiveness into a singles style.

Big E is way more fun and better on the mic with more connection w the audience while being nowhere as protected as Roman. Youre just being a hater.

I fully support Big E being champion. He has the looks, the charisma and the talent.
I have this theory that Jinder being champion is WWE trying to make sure everyone "knows" RAW is the superior brand. I remember all the talk about Smackdown being the A show over RAW so I assume that is a common sentiment in the IWC. At the time, Jinder was on RAW, nobody liked him, and he was jobbing like Jinder does. Then suddenly he gets traded to Smackdown and wins the title within a few weeks and becomes unstoppable. The simple breakdown ends up being RAW jobber is better than everyone on Smackdown, RAW is clearly the superior product! Obviously it had something to do with them trying to push into the Indian market as well, but I honestly think a lot of it was to make Smackdown look weaker than RAW. |

Nah dude, give it to Big E and then have 3MB reunite to take on New Day over the tag titles and world title.

I really hope they aren't making Survivor Series a Raw vs. SmackDown themed event again, or at least not a main event that necessitates putting all programs on hold so that everybody can fight in brand-colored T-shirts.
SmackDown's would depend on where they go from here with the story but Owens and Zayn heading up the heel team would make sense with guys like Styles and Orton available for the face side. I think they could come up with something compelling. Raw's could be something like Braun, Miz, Wyatt, Sheamus, and Cesaro vs. Joe, Balor, and The Shield I'd much rather that than see a mishmash of those guys on the same team because "brand pride". |

Usos and New Day have been killing it for months. Feel like the feud will continue to Survivor Series as well since there was another title change and they're not exactly trying to build up any other team on the blue brand.
Thought the Usos were the most boring thing ever until their heel turn, and they've just been amazing for the better part of a year now. |

• Match of the Night has to be Usos/New Day. I was growing really tired of The New Day but that match seems to have got me interested in them again and The Usos were yet again top-notch.
Before their heel turn just over a year ago, I was growing tired of them just like I was with The New Day but since then, I've loved The Usos and everything they've done has been nothing short of golden. I'm so glad they're Tag Team Champions. They should never lose those championships. • Rusev loses again. I didn't see that one coming. SPOILER: show • Fuck Baron Corbin. • Not much to say about the Charlotte/Natalya match other than I get the feeling that we'll eventually see them fight over the title in a Submission Match. Most likely at Survivor Series. Also, I may be wrong, but it does certainly feel like that Charlotte has done nothing but cry since turning face in May. She's reminding me of The Big Show back between 2011 and 2013. • I still can't get into Nakamura. I've tried and I just can't. Sorry. Mahal retaining and in the manner he did it is all good with me. I'm just trying to think who his next opponent will be. My first thought is Orton but he's not long had a shot but this is the WWE we're talking about so it probably will be Orton. • There wasn't really anything special with Roode/Ziggler if I'm honest. I knew Ziggler's entrance would be nothing and I do like the idea of Ziggler being no flash and all business. Hopefully we won't even get the beginning of his theme when he makes his way to the ring. It'll just be Ziggler, no music, no flashiness and just a spotlight until he gets to the mats. As for Roode, he's going the way of Nakamura for me as I'm struggling to find him interesting. I find myself agreeing with Ziggler's claim that Roode is "just an entrance" because to me, at the moment, he is just an entrance and it seems like I'm not the only one that agrees, judging by the crowds during his matches. His entrance pretty much blows the roof off with everyone on their feet and joining in with saying "glorious" and singing along and sticking their arms out, but during his match, the crowd goes pretty silent and in the case of last night, they start chanting the name of the arena sponsor. • I skipped most of Owens/Shane mostly because I really don't care about the angle and especially about Owens himself. I did watch the last few minutes of it however and even though I was a little surprised at Zayn's involvement at the end, I did sigh at the thought of more Owens/Zayn. Seriously, I sick of both of them. Be it together or against each other (mostly the latter), I'm just sick of them. • Overall, the event was a bit underwhelming for me with the only positives being the opening match and The Fashion Files, if I'm honest. |

As much as I love the Fashion Files, it feels like there's never going to be any real payoff to any of it.
