Despite Bam Bam being one of if not the most athletic big man of all time but Lawlers impact on the shaping of match structure is just too staggering.

In Man on the moon, Jerry Lawler played the part of Jerry Lawler much better than Bam bam played the part of 'Biker' in Major Payne.

Bam Bam is criminally underrated, but it's gotta be The King.
I think Lawler is probably the perfect example of how "Keep It Simple Stupid" can work. He never really worked with anything more than the basics (in terms of moves, that is, his career is filled with other assorted gimmickry). But the handful of moves he utilized were perfectly executed, perfectly timed, and used to the best possible effect. He got me to want to see him win the goddamn WWE Championship in 2011. |

I know Lawler will win, but I voted Bam Bam.
Lawler was "before my time", apart from his feud with Bret Hart back in the 90's, I only know his work as an announcer and wrestling now and then. Bam Bam was awesome for a guy his size. For a five-year-old kid he had a great larger than life look about him. |

Went with Bam Bam, much of like Rammsteinmad I didn't catch alot of Lawler in the ring. I understand that Lawler had a much bigger impact on the business but Bam Bam was just awesome to me as a kid. Him and Vader were two of my favorites as a kid and I believe it's just because they were big and stood out to me but both could have good matches as well.

Know this going to be a landslide for the king.
Enjoyed Bam Bam far more than I ever did The King tho. Got to see Bam Bam vs Taz live. So cool. |

Had to vote for The King due to his overall impact on the business. It's really not that close here for me.
That being said, Bam Bam is the best big man I've ever seen in the ring. I absolutely love watching his matches. The speed and athleticism along with that monstrous look and bad ass personality....he was the goods. Very very underrated guy who deserves way more respect than he seemingly gets. |

As others have said, Lawler's impact on the business has just been so huge that despite Bam Bam's greatness in his own right, King's impact on/contributions to the industry are just too much for him to overcome.

Bam Bam peaked in ring in his first year which is crazy. Lawler is top 3, so the KIIIIIIIIIIIING!

I like me some Bam Bam, but this is a pretty easy Jerry Lawler vote from me. He was a very entertaining heel to me back in the day.

No disrespect to Bam Bam, who was a great worker, but he's not on Jerry Lawler's level.
Just to add something to the sentiment Vito expressed earlier: I agree with it, for the most part, but Lawler used to do some pretty outrageous stuff too. Maybe not "high spots" in the way they are thought about today, but the dude could fucking bump. Maybe that's what you meant by other gimmickry, but man was Lawler good. |

Surprised it is this close. Bam Bam is mostly potential that was never fully realized. Had his best run in ECW when he was the World and TV Champion. Always had a short shelf life wherever he went.

I think that Bam Bam was mostly potential, whereas King was realized, is why King is pulling so far in front.

Gave the nod to Lawler mainly for seeing more of his stuff and memorable moments and having a bigger legacy overall than Bam Bam did.
For a big guy, Bam Bam was pretty athletic but felt Lawler was better in more areas. Lawler was also pretty good as a commentator for years in the WWE when he started to wind down as an active wrestler. |

Jamie REALLY? Cause his YouShoot appearance made him seem like a ... drunken scumbag)
then theres tthe vid where he is being interviewed (along with his old partner Wolfe D) and he repeatedly calls The Rock the "N" word. Wolfe D just looks embarrassed to be around him. Its weird to see Wolfe D seemed like he was getting his life together(kicking drugs and getting his daughter) Jamie seemed like he was just falling apart. |

I liked Bam Bam Bigelow, he is one of the most underrated big men in the business in my opinion. I'm still pissed at Lawler beating Terry Funk, but overall I'm going to have to give Jerry Lawler the vote here. He simply had a bigger impact on the business, was a more versatile character and a better wrestler in the ring. Bam Bam was amazing in his niche, but Lawler could do so much more with his character and in the ring.
