Like I said in the previous round, Rey Mysterio is boring as fuck in my opinion.
Love the Lesnar/Heyman duo with Heyman being great on the mic and Lesnar just being there looking like he will rip your heart out and eat it raw. I guess I prefer the powerhouse style of wrestling. Also, Lesnar really did a lot for WWE, becoming the first ex-WWE employee to show that he's also legit in the UFC, by beating Frank Mir for the title. So Lesnar by a milestone. |

Yeah, Lesnar wins this one by far. Mysterio was incredible for what he was but if I'm starting a company from scratch it's no contest who I choose between the two of them.

Rey Mysterio.
Honestly, both of them have all the reasons in the world why they should win this round, but in Rey's defence, Lesnar over the last few years has become lazy and has never really given a fuck about pro wrestling. Yes, he's a star attraction and worked his ass off to get to the level he's at, but ultimately, Rey would have made an effort to have a great match with Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins etc, as opposed to just fuck it I'm gonna go in suplex him to death and go home. |

Brock Lesnar's star is in another galaxy compared to Rey. Rey was very popular, but Lesnar is a legitimate megastar, and the only reason I was keeping up with WWE for the last 18 months pre-Mania before I stopped watching.
At the end of the day, we watch wrestling for great stories, but also true, believable stars clashing with other true believable stars. We want to see what happens. Lesnar/Goldberg was everything wrestling should be for me. Two larger than life stars clashing and you can't take your eyes off it. Rey was entertaining, but you never watched for Rey's sake. Lesnar is money just because of who he is. |

Brock Lesnar ushered in the attitude era so....
Seriously, Brock by a landslide. The look, the freakiness, the inhuman althetic ability and strength just round him out as one of the greatest ever. |

I think it's partially that Rey's strengths aren't actually Brock's weaknesses. Where both guys kind of fall down is their promo skill, but it wasn't important to either's mystique. Rey is brilliant in the ring, but Brock is too.

Rey Mysterio. If it was not for him, there'd be no one on the main roster under 250 pounds.

I'm giving Rey a pity vote here because he's done some of the most amazing things I've ever seen in a wrestling ring and was a big part of me being drawn in to wrestling as a kid. Also giving him some points for longevity whereas Brock only had two years as a full-time wrestler on television.
But zero qualms with Brock totally running away with this thing. Very interested in seeing who he matches up against next round. |

Brock Lesnar because he brings that big fight feel that not many people can bring. Rey is legendary but doesn't bring that big fight feel with him.

Rey Mysterio is the only cruiserweight (going by their current metrics) of the modern era that has ever felt main event worthy to me. Sorry, Finn Balor.

Tough choice but gave the slight nod to Lesnar.
Both are great as wrestlers in different ways. Rey has the longevity and being a legend for Lucha wrestling in the US while Lesnar has a special aura of mystic and great agility for someone of his size in a wrestling/WWE sense. Lesnar is probably also the biggest "What If" of the post-Attitude Era considering how very different things would have been if he never left or the WWE was a bit slower with his mega rise to prevent burnout/boredom. |

Brock wins and it's not even close, albeit mostly based on his 2002-2004 run. The man tore through the roster from the get-go, dominated the 2002 KotR, beat Rock for the belt @ SummerSlam that year, and was mostly unstoppable. He had an epic match with Kurt @ WM XIX and also against Eddie @ No Way Out 2004...he actually looked strong in defeat there.
Rey on the other hand feels like he has had some feel-good underdog moments, but only moments. There aren't any matches of his that I recall standing out and really wowing me. For those reasons, I voted Brock. |

Gonna throw a pity vote to Rey Mysterio.
Honestly been going back and forth on this one.... Lesnar's current matches are not good at all from a "wrestling" standpoint....... but from a "spectacle" standpoint they/him are off the charts...... So I was going back and forth weighing "wrestling" and "spectacle"....... in the end, spectacle won out and I feel like I should vote Lesnar because he's BROCK LESNAR. But as I said, I'll give Rey a pity vote instead. |

Brock is Brock because of Brock.
Brock is Apple pie and Heyman is Ice Cream both are fantastic separately but together they are awesome. Brock is the only wrestler around that imo can defend the title the same way Hogan did in the 80's. |

People are kidding themselves though if Brock didn't have Hey man or another manager to be his mouth piece for the majority of his career that he would be where he is today.
