While I agree with everything Cornette said about it, I don't mind it like he does. Because I DON'T think of it as wrestling. I think about it as a TV show about wrestling. And I don't see anything wrong with that. In a way it does less to "damage the credibility" of pro wrestling than other companies because it clearly presents itself as a scripted show about a pro wrestling company. If wrestling were real, this show would be exactly the same.

It seems really stupid to me that kayfabe-wise wrestlers wouldn't wear cups. What rationale is there for not? Back when I was playing tee-ball we wore cups man

Never wore a cup in baseball, not even as a catcher. Stopped wearing one in football when I got to middle school.

I hope, really like the Miz and he is great at everything he's done. He main scented WM and beat Cena, play off that and he's back right there. Kind of miss the shorts he used to wear.

Some confusion going around the net regarding the overrun since it was a lot longer than usual (26 minutes) with some sites saying it was already factored into the ratings/viewership and others saying it wasn't. Either way the biggest surprise is the very low 3rd hour that could have been near the sub-3 range if it wasn't for Bryan's speech. Observer speculated if this was a regular RAW and not one built around Bryan, WWE could have been looking at a new historic non-football/holiday low for RAW.

Observer on what played a big role in Bryan's retirement announcement. Supposedly the fan was causing problems all night long. Had two other incidents involving him managing to say something during the Miz-Jericho segment that caused a bleep to occur on tv and another thing that pissed off a lot of people around him.

Yeah, was,watching on the DVR and there was one part during Miz/Jericho segment that cut all audio. Might have been then. I'm sure he pissed a lot of people off with the Daniel Bryan stuff, his fans a very anal if you bash him.
