That completely misses the point. That scenario was a hypothetical. Kaepernick took the knee because other forms of protest are often met with violence resistance, and because of his national platform and spread awareness. We're talking about it right now. It's you choosing to make it trivial, but it kind of helped the BLM movement. Anyway, it doesn't matter why it would be your best resource, the point is that if it was your best resource and someone mocked it, you would be a little upset about that.
