1) Activision has recently purchased Candy Crush developer King studio for $5.9 billion with Activision saving $1 billion in taxes from the deal and gaining access to King's 474 million consumer base.

2) Some Konami related news:

• According to reports, Konami has shut down their Los Angeles studio with over 20 employees laid off as a result. The studio recently handled development for Metal Gear Online.

• The next patch for Pro Evolution 2016 has been delayed due to the previous patch messing up the game's rosters while Konami will need a few weeks to fix that problem first.

• Konami also announced they are still planning on making more games for the Metal Gear series although currently don't have the funds needs for the likely costly development based on recent MGS games.

3) Blizzard announced starting with future financial reports, they will not be revealing the total subscriber base for World of Warcraft due to them getting tired of all the "World of Warcraft is doomed" articles whenever the base drops. Game is currently at 5.5 million active subscribers which ends up being the lowest within the past 9 years.
